Excellent guesthouse in the centre of Brecon. Beautiful period building run by a helpful and friendly couple. Very clean with comfortable bed in a large room. A large breakfast sets you up for the day ahead. Dogs very welcome.

Lovely little find in the middle of Brecon. A very warm welcome, superb accommodation and a great breakfast the next morning to set us up for our next adventure. Great place, brilliant hosts would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Absolutely perfect, a warm welcome from Christine on arrival, the lowdown on the local area with recommendation on where to eat. The guest house is a grade2 listed building and is spotless, fridge with fresh milk in hallway. It also boast's an honestly, bar with beers and soft drinks! The cooked breakfast was amazing, proper attention to detail. Well done, folks.

I would highly recommend this centrally located guest house! It’s a good size and very comfortable. Lots to do within walking distance including very good restaurants. Christine is very welcoming & accommodating and not at all intrusive. She’s a good resource of Brecon Town and beyond! Can’t wait to revisit!

I would recommend this place to anyone.visiting Brecon. We were made really welcome and given a spacious and comfortable room Breakfasts were excellent . We were given great advice about where to eat and drink and places to visit .We really enjoyed our time there and have decieded to return next year. Than you Christine and Robin for everything . Our hostess, Christine, was very welcoming. She ensured we had options for parking and provided suggestions for dinner when asked. Christine also went out of her way to cook poached eggs for breakfast, which were perfect. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely guest house in Brecon town centre. We booked this as we were attending a wedding at nearby Peterstone Court. It is a 5-10 minute taxi ride away. Christine our host was very welcoming and friendly. As we had to be at the wedding for 3pm, Christine kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the usual 4pm, so we could drop our bags off, order breakfast and then get straight to the wedding. We booked the superking bedroom, it was very spacious. The bed is firm, but we like that. Breakfast was delicious. There is no parking on site, but Christine sends details of all nearby parking on the morning of your stay, which is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this guest house.

Our stay at Ty Helyg was very pleasant. Elin & Greg have made our stay very enjoyable. We had a good night rest, big breakfast and Greg gave us some good advice on restaurants and bars in St David’s. The room was spacious and comfortable. It’s just a small walk from Ty Helyg to the Cathedral

We had the most amazing stay From the welcome to the goodbyes. Friendly welcoming . atmosphere with a real family feel. Room was immaculate and food was delicious . Great location for hiking and local restaurants. We stay in a lot of places with our hiking and this has taken our number one spot., even had a little early morning breakfast left for us as we did a sunrise walk . We will be returning ( in fact we tried to book as soon as we got home but as expected they were fully booked !! ) .
