Bio-Hotel Oswalda-Hus

I've been visiting Oswalda Hus for the fifth time this year. It's become our favourite destination to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. We've been staying over in the challet with a nice view of the mountain range. There are two separate bedrooms for extra privacy with good sound insulation so snoring is no issue. The bathroom is very clean, it has a very unique electric toilet with many buttons for you to test :) The kitchen is located inside the living room as a cooking island and it has an oven, a dishwasher and stovetop to make your own food. The livingroom has a big cosy sofa with a nice view towards the balcony. The only downside I can think of is the wifi connection. It has a download speed of 5,5 Mbps in the living room and the connection drops once you're in the bedroom closest to the hallway, but it's fast enough for the TV to run Netflix or Youtube.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed at Oswalda Hus during the last week of 2022. We had a room in the beautiful newly build section, the room was cozy and looked nice, there was a seperate bedroom for the kids with a bunker bed and a spacious bathroom. No water cooker and no coffee machine in the room. The double bed had 1 mattress that felt new and one that felt a bit saggy. The kids complaint that their mattresses in the bunker bed were too hard. The outdoor pool is very nice and large enough to swim some laps. The breakfast buffet had the usual choices that you see in a 4* hotel. Coffee is from an automatic machine, I didn't try it. The dinner starts at 19:00 with the main course being served as late as 20:00, by that time our 8 year old was barely awake. The food is not proper restaurant food, but more like food that people would cook at home. Some dices tasted good, some were complete failures. The price of the food is included in room price, however drinks are not, which are rather pricy, €4 for a bottle of tap water and around €5 for a glass of elderflower juice. We found the restaurant very underwhelming. When we asked for fresh towels after a few days, housekeeping told us that they would only change the towels once during out 8 day stay. After insisting they reluctantly did give us new towels. All in all, comparing this experience to previous stays in the Süd Tirol Italy, the price is on par with the Italians, however the food and the level of professionalism and service oriented organisation lags far behind the Italians.

Tolles, familiengeführtes Hotel. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Tag startete mit einem Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Alles bio und frisch. Auch das 3 Gang Menü am Abend war immer top. Hervorzuheben ist auch der Wellness Bereich mit Sauna und Pool. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Super Biohotel, freundliches Personal, perfekte Ausstattung und Ambiente, leckeres Essen, kreative, Zubereitung, einmaliger Geschmack. Natürliche Baustoffe, viel Holz, Fernwärme beheizter, warmer Pool und kreativer kleiner Saunenbereich. Tolle Wanderungen, Entspannung, Yoga und Massage/Kosmetikbehandlungen möglich. Individueller Service machte den Aufenthalt zu einem bleibenden Erlebnis. VIELEN DANK!

Leckeres, ehrliches Bio-Essen, herrliche Sauna mit Pool und enorm freundliches Personal! Und wir hatten das Glück, dass unsere Oswalda-Suite eine große Terrasse hatte zum morgendlichen Yoga. Ein kurz-Urlaub zum Genießen! Danke an das ganze Team.

Kleines, sehr feines ruhig gelegenes Hotel und dem man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen, Zimmer, Wellnessbereich, Essen und die Lage laden zu einem entspannten Urlaub ein. Das Hotel ist eine 10/10, ich komme sicher wieder.

Zeer gastvrij hotel, diners waren alle avonden heel lekker en ook de taartjes waren super! Zelfs met mijn glutenvrije dieet werd daar heel goed rekening mee gehouden. Kamers heel mooi en fijn balkon. Heerlijk zwembad! De ligging in het dorp is heel handig

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Kein riesiger, aber dafür sehr schöner Wellnessbereich. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Unsere Suite war sauber und heimelig. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und gut erholt. Jederzeit wieder!

Ruhiges Hotel, das Essen war hervorragend, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
