Its been a while since weve stayed here. Last time we stayed here it was a decent room for our quick trip. If we didnt arrive late I would have definitely found another location. Loud and shady characters in the parking lot right off the bat that lasted into the night into the early morning. The room once you walked in had a strong musky smell. Old appliances, rusty mini fridge and a broken microwave. Checked the bedsheets and there were old stains. The door was a bit weak when locked so we moved the furniture to the door. Thats how uneasy it felt with the running unstairs and loud people out in the parking lot partying. If we had moved while laying on the bed, im pretty sure it would have collapsed. Rolling over on the bed made it sounds so. Very little sleep was had... finally when we started resting very loud men ( I'm guessing they were working on the property) were having loud conversations and laughing.
If you can find another place, please do so. This location had always been convenient and comfortable ONCE.

Absolutely no amenities, floor was dirty there was a substance that looked like blood on two surfaces. They only left one thing of soap and open package of soap without the soap. The TV did not work for all intents and purposes. Unwatchable.

Should have paid extra and stayed elsewhere. Everything is old, broken or falling apart, dirt is caked on, beds are sitting atop platforms that feel as if they’re on the verge of crashing to the floor, rooms smells musty and mildewed, etc. It was centrally located to our venue, restaurants and shops but the experience was not worth the savings.

The pool was not functional, the room was not clean. There is no lobby area and is locked all interaction without staff is through a window. They would not even let me in the front lobby to use the microwave. Had to ask for staff to for more towels and toilet paper because no one came to clean the room. It was very convenient because it is close to everything and only 25 min to beach though. I would not stay again but would find another hotel in that same area if you go to Brownsville
