There were two cockroaches in our room. When we arrived to check in at midnight, all lobby lights were turned off, it was dark. The receptionist at the time let us know that only one elevator was working - it was an old style elevator where you have to close the inside door for it to operate, and it was so small it could only fit one person with luggage. Upon entering into our room, we found a dead cockroach next to the toilet. Seconds later, a live cockroach came running out from a crack in the floor. We called the front desk immediately to ask for a room switch and to our surprise, the receptionist came up with a broom and cleaner to clean the dead roaches. I was so angry at this point. He then proceeded to tell us that there was a huge flying cockroach problem in Buenos Aires and that the hotel was at full capacity (doubtful) so he would have to find us another hotel to stay in, which would take time. At this point, we were tired and frustrated so didn't bother switching. We did however, fact check his claim about a cockroach problem and didn't find anything. We left very early in the morning and checked into another hotel. Advice: Stay away. Ask: I want my money back.
