A fantastic stay, exceptional service and clean rooms hot showers. Ideal lodge for mountain gorilla adventure. Very remote location to get to, yet views around the hotel and grounds are exceptional. The staff all very helpful and friendly, gym, swimming pool small shop and bar within the grounds.

Pictures don't give this place justice. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with charming decor that perfectly complements the stunning natural surroundings. Our room was incredibly cozy, featuring a king sized bed and a lovely view of the mountains. The breathtaking view from our balcony was heavenly both at sunset & in the morning. Rooms are quite spacious, with hot water available at all times. The food at the restaurant was delicious & the staff are very attentive & attending to our every need. We visited the village nearby & got to meet the locals. The lodge is not far from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The only thing I will suggest to the management is to change the mattress. We had a few dips in some parts of the mattress which made it slightly uncomfortable but otherwise the room was cozy and warm. The water bottles we received at night was a bonus. It certainly put a smile on my face.

Wonderful stay for two nights either side of our Gorilla trek in Bwindi impenetrable forest. Room was very comfortable with two sides canvas walls . The staff put hot water bottles in our beds which was welcome as nights chilly. Staff were welcoming and friendly and a group of ladies came and sang and danced a welcome for us. Didn’t have time to explore the hotel grounds which were lovely or to play on the huge chess game. Food in the restraunt was excellent. Highly recommend this lodge. Very close to start if gorilla trekking.

Superb place at a great location. Right at the parks entrance, with views on the Bwindi forest. Very amazing views from dining area, as well from the rooms. Clean and very spacious rooms, nice interior design, good hot water showers. Very attentive and welcoming staff, very very tasty meals. They were also always very punctual. Would absolutely recommend, also the locals said it was the very best lodge around and always sold out :)

Beautiful vistas, a number of accommodation possibilities, nice food, Batwa show that is just like the one in the batwa village. Coming back to the lodge was a welcome moment of rest and admiration of the mountains. The food was a buffet but nevertheless tasty. We stayed at a glamping tent which was a charming touch.

Beautiful location near gorilla tracking! Amazing views of the Mountains. Really gets you in the mood for meeting gorillas. Comfortable room, delicious meals and friendly, helpful staff. Wish I could have spent more than one night! You even get a hot water bottle in your bed!

The view from the balcony is just great, you have the entire Bwindi Impenetrable Forest at your feet. I sit in my wooden chair and listen to the jungle sound. The service here is not that great, they try, but the menu was kind of poor. The villas are the main attraction for sure, people come here for the view, not for the food. As it was cold in the room they places under the sheets a hot water bottle bag. the bed was 2m wide, the water bag was 20 cm in the middle of the bed :) anyway they have extra blankets, but it's not comfortable. But you are within a distance of just 15 minutes’ walk away from the gorilla tracking starting point. The resort is build on 6 acres of jungle, so this is why you want to stay here. Enjoy!

We spent a pleasant night before our Gorilla trek at this lodge. It was comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the view and spent some time watching the brilliant sunbirds from the porch. The menu included several options for various preferences and we enjoyed our selections. The staff were congenial, responsive and professional. A good option for gorilla trekkers as it is a restful place to stay close to the Rushaga Gorilla Trek starting point.

Incredible staff! Jackie is one of the kindest persons I've met. Clean and comfortable lodge with delicious food. The road to this lodge is an adventure all by itself, but well worth the trip. Most travelers stay here for the gorilla treks in Bwindi. We stayed almost a week to rest after flying from USA to Uganda. We bird watched, visited the Batwa, enjoyed the local dancers, trekked to the gorillas and relaxed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with a lovely view, and the food was delicious. Couldn't ask for more!
