I was here for 3 days with my parents and we really had a really amazing stay. Besides the luxurious cottage and treatment, all the staff people were very warm and welcoming, from kitchen to security to the host. They all truly care about the quality of your stay. Also, an extra tip is to go with Hillary and Henry to do a bush walk just outside the lodge towards the river bank, where we saw hippos, elephants, buffalo’s and many birds from close and a beautiful scenery! So to conclude, it’s really worth your money and they make very sure fornuis to have a wonderful stay!

Spacious cottages and excellent service. Our waiter Godard was superb! If you love wild animals, you will be able to see warthogs and antilopes from the pool. In the lodge itself you might run into John the Elephant and mongoose. The wildlife experience at the lodge is really special. While the food was alright, it could be improved somewhat (especially the breakfast buffet, and overall less salt). Lastly, the boat tour at the nearby Kazinga channel was incredible with loads of elephants, hippos, birds and buffaloes.

Amazing service! Made us feel so special for our honeymoon. Stayed for one night on a 10 day Uganda safari tour. Enjoyed some time by the pool and had an absolutely delicious dinner. They went all out for our stay that was less than 24 hours, which was so appreciated.

Great lodge. Everyone was very welcoming and extremely nice! I would definitely recommend to all my friends! The pool was extremely nice and the wildlife are exceptional. There is always a new piece of wildlife surrounding the lodge. It was a great visit.

We sadly only stayed for two nights at the buffalo lodge in the queen elizabeth national park… if we come back we would definitely stay for longer! It was truly an experience with the wild animals occasionally passing on the hotel grounds. Very very friendly staff that helped us with every single request that we had and they surprised us with a candle light dinner and a cake since they heard that it is our honeymoon trip! Looking forward to come back again once day and enjoy the nature and great people here…

Amazing place! When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the amazing employees. They were so kind & helpful. The cottages are beautiful & spacious. The pool has an amazing view & there are often elephants & buffalo roaming by the pool. The red sun set by the pool with the elephants was crazy cool.

I have never met a kinder staff!!! They are all the sweetest people - so helpful, thoughtful, and friendly! The rooms were so clean with shiny floors. The rooms were beautiful! So many details like water for teeth brushing. The pool is amazing with elephants right there! THE FOOD OMG the chefs are incredible. Every meal was 5 stars and the menu changing daily was so fun. We loved our whole experience here and didn’t want to leave!

The lodge caters to your every need from start to finish. Warm towels every time you return to the lodge, great pool and restaurant and wonderful laundry service. The infinity pool overlooks an amazing watering hole full of animals. Everyone calls you by your name and is incredibly attentive. The food in the restaurant is the best we had in Uganda. Try the Ugandan national dishes on the menu they were delicious! The lodge is perfectly located to get into the Park for safari and the river for an aquatic safari. Ask for Alfred in the restaurant, he is excellent and takes especially good care of you and your food needs. Masitula in the front office is wonderful as well and very attentive to your details. Hillary keeps the pool area in tip top shape. The entire staff is wonderful and will make sure your stay is the best possible.

The lodge and staff far exceeded our expectations! Of the places we stayed in Uganda, this was by far the best— the ambiance, food, staff and service are top notch. Hats off to Alfred (service) and Hillary (pool), Masitula and Jackie! The best in Uganda!
