Agriturismo Pieve Sprenna

Went for the set meal and was very impressed. Great value for the amount of food we had and also the attention on the waiting staff. We had the best meal of our holiday, thanks very much for making it a special evening as we celebrated our daughters joint birthday.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The views were stunning, hot tub overlooked the valley, owners were friendly and cooked amazing food. Rooms were cleaned daily. A perfect place to do some walking if wanted as the hiking trail goes right through the farm. Would stay there again.

- 1 week stay review - Bed - The mattress was completely worn out and there were deep holes where two people would sleep. Usage of the Grounds - There are rules for the pool, which were not obeyed nor enforced. For example, No ball playing in the pool or children under 12 must have an adult. At one point six kids were wrestling in the pool unattended. Our apartment came with a dedicated outside area. This was not made clear to other guests, so we had other people smoking in our area. Staff interaction - When we arrived we were shown to our room and told to take out the garbage with the key and to read the folder for everything else. The second day I asked for some advice on a local festival. I got a terse response saying that I should attend the holiday dinner hosted at the Agri the next night. Grounds - The view and the pool are accurately represented in the photos. Rooms - The 1bdrm apartment was equipped. We were happy to make our own breakfast and Aperol spritz from our kitchen and enjoy them at the pool. Location - All in all good for accessing the vineyards. Kids amenities - The farm animals were interesting to look at for our 1 year old and the playground had swing/ slide/ playhouse/ trampoline. Overall, I cannot recommend this place, unless you have young, independent children who want to enjoy the pool with wild abandon and you are so tired that you can

A little piece of heaven fell to earth and landed on a hill in the Tuscan countryside. My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this incredible place. Pieve Sprenna is one of the nicest, most peaceful places we have ever stayed. The experience begins as you approach and get the first look of the vineyard on the left and the animals on the right. The beauty is stunning. We were greeted by the owner. She was warm and welcomed us to their home. That is what makes this such a special place. It is not a hotel. It is their home and they pour their heart and soul into making it a place for visitors to join in its warmth and beauty. That is evident by the immaculate grounds and genuine pride shown by all 4 family members. I can’t imagine the work it takes to do this all day, every day, for 7 months. Our room was spotless and well appointed. Daily cleaning is included. The feel of the room mirrored the beauty of the place. Now, the food. Wow. Breakfast is huge. Everything you could want from sweet to savory. Homemade! Dinners are incredible. 4 courses and every one prepared with pride and delivered with a smile. I could write for days about the food. I want to end by thanking this family for opening their home to us. It is the highlight of our 40th anniversary trip through Italy.

I stayed with my husband for 4 nights in this idilic place in Toscana. We had the Cyclamino room and it was a really beautiful and vintage space. The environment is absolutely beautiful with vineyards and olive trees all around. This is trully an authentic experience in the italian countryside. They have also a farm with animals and it’s adorable for kids and for adults also. We had the breakfast and the dinner every day at their restaurant and the food was delicious. We had homemade pasta, local cheese and a lot more. All of that tasted really good and we could notice that is organic products. They make all with love and pasion and the guests can notice and apreciate that. In the evening of 15 th august it was holiday and we had a special dinner with music, good food and a lovely atmosphere watching the sunset. The pool area was really beautiful and relaxing. All we can say is that we loved this agriturismo and will recomend to other people Many thanks to the whole family for our beautiful holiday 🤗🙏🏻😊

We've been coming to this wonderful family for 5 years in a row now and have booked again for 2024! In addition to the breathtaking surroundings, the beautiful view and the characteristic construction .. Annalisa, Brando, Virginia, Aurora and their entire team try their outmost best from early in the morning to late at night, to guarantee you a fantastic stay in their agriturismo.

Amazing experience !! We stayed 6 days there, it felt like a bubble of paradise in the Tuscany countryside .. the views around the house are breathtaking, especially at sunset , you can drink a spritz or homemade limoncello while looking at it, it is magical! There are a lot of animals around : 3 golden retrievers (so cute and cuddly), many cats, a little farm with ducks hens sheeps goose pigs and even a parrot! The pool is huge (but a bit cold at this time of year) and the jaccuzzi also has the best view. You can also ride a horse , the stables are next to the house , it’s perfect. The accommodation was very nice and charming (loved that the hot water arrived very fast in the shower; it was a struggle in previous accommodations in our trip). Beds are very comfy , although a bit on the soft side (we are more firm mattresses fans, but that’s varying from people to people). Inside the room the wifi wasn’t always the best, but outside it was perfect and it is the best we have had around (it is a really remote place so that’s normal). We went for running around in the hills and it was enchanting. Last but not least : the food is sooo tasty !! Breakfast was delicious , a lot of homemade cakes and biscuits , with juices, yogurt, fresh fruit salad and savoure meals as well. I loved the huge Pukka tea selections! We went for dinner there as well, for 30€ you can have 4 meals , all home made and local, and it was one of the best food we have had in the trip. Definitely would recommend :) All in all, a fantastic Tuscan paradise, all handled by the family there , from grandmas to daughters and grand daughters: would love to come back :)

We can't say enough about our time at Pieve Sprenna! This family-run agriturismo exceeded our expectations in every way. Our accommodations (we booked the Gelsomino apartment) were comfortable, clean, full of character, and homey. We could sit on a swing or bench just outside the building overlooking the vineyards and olive groves, from which came the wine and olive oil served in the restaurant where we ate almost every night. The food was among the best of all of our meals that we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. The price of each home-cooked meal was such a great value - each meal was thoughtfully prepared and so delicious, and they also had gluten-free options available for both pasta and bread. While our favorite was the Fiorentina di Chianina (must be requested in advance), all of the meals were fantastic and we loved being surprised by what was being served. Virginia, Aurora and the family were such gracious hosts - and when we inevitably couldn't finish our meal, they'd cheerfully pack it up for us so we could have leftovers in our apartment for lunch the next day. Be sure to try their amaro, if it's available! We regretted not buying a bottle (or several) to take home with us - it's by far our favorite of the many we tried. We thought the location was superb as a home base for visiting the hill towns of the region. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again, and in the meantime will warmly recommend them to anyone we know who is planning a trip to Tuscany.

This is an Agriturismo that has all the beauty of a Tuscan farmhouse and the comfort of a top notch hotel while maintaining an intimate charm for each of their guest. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and 100% clean. The on-site restaurant is fantastic. I stayed for a week and dined there every night and wasn’t bored once. In fact I looked forward to dinner and still miss the meals of rustic Tuscan stews, home made pici, roast game and decadent desserts. The location is very convenient location to base yourself if exploring the Tuscan countryside and many beautiful villages surrounding it . The estate itself offers plenty of areas to relax, retreat and enjoy the freedom of not having to do anything but enjoy yourself. But what brings it all together is the family that make it as special as it is. Annalisa, Brando, Victoria, Aurora and their four legged friends make Pieve Sprenna everything you dream a Tuscan holiday in the countryside would be like.
