My husband and I had our very first yoga retreat at Xinalani and fell in love with the place. It was an opportunity to unwind and quiet my body and mind. The scenic ocean views and the beautiful balcony with a hammock to gently swing on. I was so thankful that no critters entered our unit at night. The weather was hot and perfect to enjoy the open air sleep under the canopy bed.. The chef made delicious healthy food every single meal. He was so kind as to share recipes for us to make at home. We also enjoyed several days at the spa, as well, and it was amazing! The staff are so courteous and treated us so well. The cocao ceremony was so special and we enjoyed the instructor Dionne very much. She made it so personal. The yoga instructor Jerry was fantastic and helped me get more out of my practice. He even accommodated a shorter class for us on our departure day. Overall an amazing experience and we plan to go back next year.

Xinalani takes care of everything. The property is beautiful. The staff is incredible and the food is delicious. Everyone is so attentive. Definitely would recommend attending a retreat or coming solo. This is my third year and I am sure I will be back again. They are incredible to deal with.

MAGIC. The sound of the ocean, immersed in a forest, incredible healthy food, amazing staff. Beautiful small beach. Yoga and meditation every day. Amazing tours in the surroundings. The guide "Quimi" is incredible, with a deep knowledge of the fauna and flora and infinite supply of enthusiasm and energy. Love and peace permeate every space. Only love can make a place like Xinalani. Spent a week with my wife on a yoga retreat, a week of life-changing growth and discovery. We are coming back next year. Xinalani brings you back to the basics and allows you to evaluate and take time to refocus and understand. One key secret is that there is no road access. A road to Quimixto (small village adjacent to xinalani) will be the end of the magic. You can see the horror of development and greed when you get closer to Vallarta.

This was one of the best vacations I have ever had! The location is stunning,quiet, easy to get to by water taxi. The rooms very beautiful, ammenities wonderful The food was incredible ; they had chicken ,fish and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options also .The staff was kind and very helpful.The excursions were very numerous.My favorite excursions were with Quimi : dolpin swim and whale watching.They were outstanding ! We saw many whales and dolpins.Quimi is also a Unforgettmarine biologist and gave us so much information in addition to putting a microphone in the water so we could gear the whale songs! Shout out to Captain Manuel too who was so kind and geneous with his time to stop the boat to see whales/ dolpins both on our taxi ride from Puerto Vallarta and during the trips even after finish time. Do pack extra clothes as it gets chilly on the boat and at night time .Unforgettable trip!

I've hosted 4 retreats at this resort and they are the best of the best! They have a very responsive booking team & everyone at the resort is very professional. They truly think of every detail! The grounds are beautiful and the excursions are always so fun! Ohhh and the food is INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend staying here!

The staff were all very kind, friendly, and happy to allow me to practice my poor Spanish on them. The food was a treat: they did a great job providing a variety of delicious dishes at every meal, with lots of vegetarian and dairy-free options. I took a couple of nature excursions which were fun if you like hiking and boating: a hike to a local waterfall, and a whale-watching trip. Our guide for both of those, Quimi (sp?), was exceptionally engaging, fun, and eager to share his considerable knowledge of local plant and animal life with us. I don't do yoga, so while my spouse was doing her classes, I spent my time reading and doing creative work on my computer in our private room, which I enjoyed very much. I found out towards the end of my stay how easy it is to order a piña colada at the bar and have it charged to my room....

Xinalani is a beautiful and magical resort and experience off the beaten path in Mexico! We saw humpback whales, swam in the ocean with wild dolphins, released baby turtles into the sea, and so much more! Our guide, Kimi, was exceptionally knowledgeable and entertaining. The food is phenomenal! Very healthy and delicious, but nothing fried or processed, so if you are looking for that, this might not be for you. I had one of the best spa experiences ever (and I've been to many) with the Zen Renaissance Body Ritual. I'd 100% go back again!

Amazing snorkeling and dolphin tour with Kimi- He is outstanding, knowledgeable and a friendly representative of Quimixto and funny as can be! All Joy! The staff at xinalani are so attentive and friendly. The stairs are numerous but the exercise is great because the food is DELICIOUS and plentiful.

I love this place! This is my second time here. Staff is very helpful and will go the extra mile to help you have a great stay. I love the views. Kimy’s excursions are really fun. We did the dolphin watching and trip to Yelapa this time and both were amazing days that I won’t forget. Kimy knows so much about the plants and animals and history of this area so it’s great to listen to his knowledge. I hope to come back again!
