Went for a quick “babymoon” getaway - came without great expectations, just some relaxing time by the pool to decompress. Instead was blown away by the beauty of the location and the top-notch service. Stayed in Room 25 (a generous upgrade from our booking) and I don’t believe the photos on the website does the place justice! Incredible views of the ocean, and the plunge pool was so key to the experience. Francisco was our concierge and he left the most adorable baby shoes and hand drawn card on our bed at check in, knowing it was our babymoon. When we mentioned to the staff showing us our room that we were actually expecting twins, another pair of booties and another adorable card showed up at turn-down! Knowing I was worried about mosquito bites, he also sent along insect repellent in the evening without any prompting whatsoever. The guacamole and coronas at Happy Hour in the room is such a simple but nice touch. At breakfast, the waiter (I forgot his name!) immediately brought me a pillow for my back without asking. The poolside staff were always quick to bring waters, refills, and move your umbrella for the perfect shading. We were lucky we caught the end of whale season as we would just spend the day laying out and watching whales breech in the ocean in front of us! Food was always delicious - El Farallon is a magical venue. I do wish there were a la carte options so I could sample even more seafood than just the main course. The grilled fish we had was truly perfect though. The blackened shrimp we enjoyed at the family pool restaurant was outstanding. Also - the hotel was at full occupancy (we were told) while we were there, and while it was busy, the service never faltered and the place never felt crowded. I am gluten free and there were always ample options and substitutions made for me - including amazing gluten free churros, and even gluten free cookies to take-away on our car ride to the airport!!! We will definitely be back- hopefully with our 2 babies in tow the next time!

Arrival through Mexico’s only private tunnel- this hidden gem tucked within the mountain offers spectacular Pacific ocean views. Attention to detail with each step. The Only resort to boast of both sunrises & sunsets. Each room has its own plunge pool & balcony with daily amenities delivered to the room. Great Mexican cultural immersion - from the tasteful decorations, mouth watering cuisine with a twist & authentic spa offering Mexican folk healing inspiration.

If I had one word to describe this property, it would be Wow! The staff and service is incredible and the property is literally a dream. You don’t really understand awe and beauty until you are staring at it live. We stayed here for 4 days and it was a magical trip. Our room was stunning with a plung pool and privacy since we were on the edge of the mountain. As someone who loves traveling around Mexico this hotel was definitely one of the most beautiful I’ve visited. The only downside is the beach is not swimmable.

Rarely do I use the word "perfect" in a review, but my wife and I travel quite a bit and are fortunate enough to stay at some very fine hotels around the world. The Waldorf Astoria Cabo San Lucas deserves a place at the top. You would think that its picturesque location, plunge pools, and restaurants would be the main attractions, but is the staff and level of service that are the reason we didn't want to leave. It started at check-in with a complementary upgrade to the Estrella Suite and Bottle of wine. We were beyond spoiled with a room lager than my first apar**ent, plunge pool, fire pit and two porches with a view of the Pacific Ocean. The grounds are immaculate. From the moment we checked in, the staff made every effort to call us by name wherever we went and always made sure we were comfortable and our needs were being met. Salvador at Don Manuels was incredible, knowledgeable, and anticipated every need delighting us with special treats from the kitchen during and after our meal. While super expensive, we had an incredible experience at the Spa leaving relaxed. And dining at the cliffs at El Farallon is worth the breathtaking experience. It is walking distance from the Marina, and we ventured there twice for a meal and some shopping, but, once you've spent any time at the Waldorf Astoria Cabo San Lucas, you will find that you just don't want to leave the resort. Bottom line, if you are looking for a paradigm changing experience for a vacation and it is within your budget (its pricey), then THIS is the place.

Welcome drink upon arrival and met our personal concierge, Francisco. We were upgraded as Diamond members to a wonderful ocean view. Our room was warm, inviting and impeccably clean. The plunge pool was warm and refreshing. The food in all the restaurants was fresh, delicious and the drinks were just as yummy. We are so grateful for all the attentive, gracious and friendly staff. The grounds are unlike the vast majority do resorts we have visited and can’t wait to come back! Thank you.

This hotel offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The service staff are exceptionally friendly, always ready to cater to your needs with a warm smile. While the breakfast buffet may not boast an extensive selection, its quality surpasses expectations. The concierge service is prompt and efficient, ensuring all your requests are swiftly attended to. One of the highlights of each room is the private, temperature-controlled infinity pool, providing guests with a luxurious and exclusive relaxation experience. However, during our stay, we encountered a minor inconvenience. The room above ours was undergoing renovation, and construction noise disrupted our peace as early as 8 a.m. Despite our complaint, it took two days to be relocated to a quieter room, which was a rather slow resolution process. Consequently, we were frequently disturbed early in the mornings. Nevertheless, the complimentary replenishment of the minibar with chilled beers each day was a thoughtful touch, alleviating any concerns about snacks and beverages. Despite the setback, the overall experience was delightful, thanks to the breathtaking surroundings and impeccable service.

The Waldorf was our second stop in Cabo, we were wishing it had been our only stop. The property is immaculate and every detail is attended to. The views are breathtaking. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. I asked for feather free and they even had someone do a second check before we were taken to the room (which i appreciated since the first resort hadn't de-feathered the room yet told me it was causing me to have a severe allergic reaction). As I was sick when i arrived (due to other hotel), i called my dr who prescribed me some medications. The concierge (Karen) was amazing; she took the time to help me find comparable meds and had them picked up and brought to me. I was opening the meds and reading the instructions when the housekeeper saw me struggling and went over to the mini-bar to bring me a bottle of cold water. I was truly touched that she was observant and cared enough to help me. The food was also excellent - we had dinner at El Farallon, the blue fin tuna was exceptional. I highly recommend and in the future we will stay here and skip the price-equivalent all-inclusive resorts.

I've visited this location twice, and my wife has visited this location thrice, twice with me, and one with her parents. And on every visit we had a fantastic time. I only wish that last time my wife had visited, that I personally got to go. I was told later on that she was gifted one of the biggest suites for her and her parents, just for having visited so many times, and also having Diamond status. If ever wanting to stay at an exclusive location while visiting Mexico, this would be that location hands down. This is by far one of the most immersed Mexican experiences you will ever come across. From going through that underground mountain pass upon arrival, to the cultural aesthetics of the actual room itself. I would strongly recommend the stay.

Our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Marleny at concierge was highly communicative and professional. She assisted me in ordering a birthday cake for my spouse which was delivered to our room upon arrival. Manuel at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. The staff made my spouse feel very special with room upgrade, candle pottery gift, and birthday greetings from the staff. The amazingly hospitable staff is what makes this resort extra special. The grounds and rooms are immaculate. The view of the ocean is spectacular. We enjoyed El Farallon, but especially recommend Don Manuel’s with the warm staff and delicious food. We also loved the tacos and drinks at the beach club. We did not want to leave and plan on returning in the future.
