Hotel Ilusion Moreyo - Adults Only

This is an adults only hotel where the average age of residents is over 50. On arrival the hotel staff at the front dest was efficient and courteous. There was no help with luggage but I did not need it. I was offered a pool view at an extra cost. On entering my room, I observed the British pub over the road. This place was frequented by a good group and stopped playing loud music at 23.00hrs. Admittingly, I was part of the audience on numerous occasions. The hotel room was small with a balcony, but suitable. A good shower,tv, and lighting. It was perfect. Breakfast was at 8.00hrs and had an assortment of hot and cold food. Again, staff were cheerful even though the occupants kept stealing the tea bags, and the coffee machine kept running out. The pool was cold. Lots of chairs in the sun with umbrellas. Evening meals provided a selection of hot meals. Some local. A cheerful chef made the experience great. Hotel prices were also reasonable. Several running machines and a jacuzzi is available. I will return to this place.

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful hotel, beautiful staff. Had a perfect stay, our room was so spacious including a massive bathroom, yes we overlooked the street but that was fine by me. The staff were kind and friendly. The breakfast was vast, everyone catered for. Step out of the back of the hotel and you have the most amazing terrace by the sea...Beautiful. Thank you for such a lovely stay you are amazing.

Absolutely beautiful hotel immaculate food amazing definitely book a front sea view as these rooms are the biggest other rooms have a fabulous view but tiny we will definitely come back❤️you in center of everything drinks not expensive neither at hotel , sitting having breakfast opposite the ocean amazing don’t listen to the bad reviews I always go to 5 star hotels it’s my little but a little jem

I'm not happy at all. I wish I'd read all the bad reviews first. I'm in room 316 which has a street view, which in fact is a derelict building with a British bar next door playing music until midnight every night, impossible to sleep. After 3 nights went down to receptionist and complained. She said she could move me to another room but it would cost me 75 euros. Its expensive enough for a solo person and paying double seems very unfair, I was under the impression I would get a room with a pool or Seaview. I asked to see the other room, it was just as bad a room overlooking the street and I could still see the bar and didn't think the loud music would be any better. If I wanted to go to magaluf I would have gone there. I thought cala bona would be quiet. Also if you don't like foreign food don't go to this hotel as they cater for international people. Breakfast is very good though. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and tidy. I shall be putting in a complaint to Jet 2 when I get home but have to put up with the noise from the bar across the road for another 4 nights.

Hotel is in a great location. Lovely outdoor area onto seafront. Spotless clean. Food excellent. All staff ver pleasant especially the catering staff and Carolina on reception. They supply towels, dressing gowns and slippers. Also lovely light duvets on bed. Now for negatives. Don’t book a superior room. The room is so small. It’s the view you pay for we were told. No Uk channels I bout superior room. No coffee machine. Bathroom lacked privacy. No handrail in shower and you have to ask for soap at reception. We actually bought a bar of soap but later told by another couple it’s supplied at reception. No notice in our room to this effect. Cleaner washing tiled floors and no sign put up re wet floor . My husband slipped on same floor. Wasn’t hurt fortunately. They’ve lovely tables at front of hotel where we liked to purchase a beer at bar and sit outside but alas no brollies so you’re scorched from sun. Have to say overall we’d a lovely stay and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever used on holidays. I’d recommend a stay here but there are a few issues but go to reception and ask for Carolina. She looked after us

We stayed here for a week as a last minute getaway unfortunately it isn’t somewhere we would return. The hotel is situated across the road from a British bar which plays incredibly loud music from 9pm-11.30/12. Even with your balcony shut it’s loud. There isn’t many staff on which is a real shame as the ones who are working work incredibly hard/ don’t stop and are rushed off their feet. We got here pretty late in the evening, given the room number only to find out we’d be sent to the wrong area. No water was provided so had to buy some from a takeaway. It’s not a bad room size however the aircon didn’t work on our first night and when we saw on their information you could rent a fan. We went down and they. They had no idea what we were talking about. It was fixed the next day. The bathroom needs some TLC especially with tiles on the floor. On one of the days our door had been left unlocked after it had been cleaned luckily everything was still intact. Hotel is very clean throughout. In terms of food breakfast was fine. They do need to get a coffee machine as everyone was queuing for the two they have. The evening meal was quite limited in choice and I wouldn’t recommend if you have any dietary requirements as you’ll be stuck eating rice. Asked for a drinks menu they didn’t have one. It is well Labelled though I will give them that. No entertainment unless you count that from across the street. It is an excellent location, lovely to sit out on on an evening and read your book. Plenty of sunbeds and they do provide towels. Drinks are reasonably priced. Do I think it’s a 4 star? No, they need to definitely have more on offer to get it there. Overall it is good value For money it just wasn’t really our thing.

I stayed here as a solo traveller at the end of September. The hotel receptionists were all very helpful and the bar staff really chatty. I felt welcome as a solo guest. My room was on the first floor facing the street, at first I thought this would annoy me however it was nice getting ready and sitting on the balcony watching the atmosphere. I always popped up to the sauna balcony to catch the sunrise, I think if you don't have the best view in your room, just make use of the hotel, it's there to be used :) The room was very modern and clean, on the small side but perfectly laid out and the modern decor and facilities made up for the size. I saw a lot of complaints about the pool size, yeah it wasn't the biggest pool, but you don't need a big pool in an adults only hotel in my opinion, it was perfect for dipping in each morning and the views from the pool and sun terrace were beautiful! The hotel itself is in a great location, right on the seafront and nothing beats having your breakfast there each morning then having a dip in the sea. Fantastic hotel with great facilities and a fair price. I'll be back :)

Lovely hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. Wasnt a fan of the buffet dinner but can't fault this hotel as it was super clean and lovely balcony onto the rooms and pool was spotless. Would highly recommend for couples or older people.

Stayed for a week in a superior double room with front sea view… Room- on the smaller side not much space around the bed or in the bathroom however this wasn’t a problem, view was stunning. Shower was a real strong point and beds were comfy also relatively clean (under the bed a bit dusty). Hotel offers free wifi however connection was very poor but this wasn’t a problem as we had a roaming pass but if anyone is relying on wifi you might be disappointed. Room didn’t include an mp3 docking station which it stated online (again didn’t bother us) Service- arrived 3pm after travelling for a long time, there was a queue for check in where we waited for about 15/20 mins we then got checked in. Chefs all enthusiastic and made dining an enjoyable experience, food was always relatively hot and fresh with replenishments taking place regularly. Bar staff and waiting staff on the whole happy to help serve with a smile on their face, from breakfast through to dinner. One server called Luis seemed to never have a smile on his face and was the only one to not really take any notice of the guests. Food and drink- It was also luis (not his fault) who informed us of the hotels no own drinks or food next to the pool policy unless bought off of them. This was a little disappointing considering it was only a bottle of water we were drinking to stay hydrated in the beautiful sun trap! It was great to be able to sit right on the sea front for breakfast and dinner where there was always seats to be had. Similarly there was always sun loungers around the pool available, however it has to be said we did not come during the very busiest weeks of the year. Location- The hotel is situated very close to the Cala Bona harbour which plays host to multiple beautiful restaurants and bars to cater for all needs. The flat promenade along the sea front allows you to walk all the way to the bottom of Cala Millor quite easily with the option to sit in a few bars along the way if that takes your fancy! Entertainment- the hotel provided a dj every evening between 8-11 not to everyone’s taste but we enjoyed it, however, there is entertainment around Cala bona in local bars if a dj isn’t for you. Price- considering you were almost made to buy drinks or dehydrate, it’s a god send that they were reasonably priced for this type of hotel. On the whole we enjoyed our stay here and would happily return.
