Visited as a family of 5 with 3 girls aged 11, 7 & 2. This was our 6th visit to Majorca as a family with all other trips being to 4* all inclusive. We stayed here on a half board basis and the food was excellent and better than most others we have stayed at. Being smaller, the dining was more relaxed than a large hotel that can feel like eating in a busy canteen. We only ate out once during the week as the food and atmosphere was good. We stayed in a superior room which was modern and clean with a large balcony. Cleaners were always about if you needed towels swapping etc. The evening entertainment consists of a mini disco which our two youngest enjoyed each night and then either an outside act or the animation team performing. This finished around 10pm each night but there is a lot of entertainment / live music around the resort which we went to on a few evenings. Pool was excellent and seemed to be well maintained during the time we were there. Bar and restaurant staff work tirelessly and always appeared friendly. Towels were out on the beds at breakfast time but we never had a problem getting one during the half term week. Easy walking distance to the centre and beaches and a bit further to the marina which is definitely worth a visit. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Excellent for families, especially with younger children. Swimming pool area was fantastic and can we say a huge thank you to the lovely male lifeguard. He was so much fun with our girls and lots of other children. Making sure they were safe but still having a great time. He’s a credit to the hotel. The animation team worked hard every day keeping the children entertained. Bar/restaurant staff were always friendly and interacted with the children. The food was lovely and there was a good selection, especially in the evening with a different theme each night. Separate children’s selection with the usual chips, pizza, pasta etc. Quick 5/10 minute walk to two beautiful beaches from the back of the hotel. The only criticism was the pull out bed in the superior room was very uncomfortable. Other than this I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in 2018 and it was fine however we returned in May 2024 and the air conditioning system (not in our room) was so loud that it was keeping us awake. It spoilt our holiday. We asked at reception and they said that they would send someone but the issue remained. I would not recommend this hotel anymore if you care about getting some sleep!

On my last day of a 9 night stay with my Family. We've all loved this Hotel. We stayed on a half board basis and the food has been exceptionally good. Special mention to Rudy who works tirelessly to ensure guests have a great stay. Highly recommended.

We came to stay at Cala d'Or Playa Hotel from the 22/5/24 to 29/5/24, It was to celebrate my father in laws 70th birthday and there was 1 1 of us in total. We had an amazing stay there and cannot fault the hotel in anyway, The staff where really attentive, approachable, helpful and friendly! One staff member in particular called "Rudy" always went the extra mile to make our stay pleasurable and looked after us at the bar area in the evenings. The food was delicious every day with something for everyone a different themed buffet every evening, The BBQ evening was my favourite! We used the pool area everyday with our 3 year old, The slides where great and most importantly the pool was kept clean. Evening entertainment was brilliant for the kids, They had a magician one night which was great and also a Parrot show on another night which our son loved. The hotel is located between 2 beautiful beaches and the main town area with many bars and restaurant's is only a short walk away. We have already said we will be staying here again when we come back to Majorca. Many thanks to all the staff that made our stay such a pleasurable and memorable experience.

First visit and certainly not the last. Excellent accommodation, facilities, entertainment. Friendly helpful staff who were only too willing to help and great entertainment provided by professional staff for children. Good range of food and drink. Everywhere was spotless and rooms were cleaned every other day. Would highly recommend for families with children.

The hotel staff are excellent. Nothing is a problem and they are all really pleasant people to be around. Entertainment team really go above and beyond with the kids. A weekly schedule including, pool zorbing, darts, t-shirts painting, legoo, football, daily discos and evening entertainment shows. 👏👏 Kids were literally crying leaving. Only improvement really would be the beds in the apartments. They need to be more comfortable. But it didn't take away from the trip.

Perfect family holiday with the friendliest staff. Rudy looked after us like we were family and the Animacion team were absolutely brilliant at keeping the little ones entertained and the nightly shows were fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great little place in a perfect location in Cala D’Or. Central to all the bars and restaurants, 5/10 min walk to the marina with a children’s play zone (go karts, trampolines etc) 2 mins away. Everything you need is close by including local supermarket and bakery. Esmeralda Beach is a 2 min walk at the rear of apartments/pool side, a beautiful cove with a great family beach restaurant. The beach also has an adults only bar which is part of an adults only hotel but everyone can use the bar/seated area. Accommodation is excellent! We stayed in a superior room and couldn’t complain, the standard was great, spotlessly clean, very modern, large balcony area and beds were so comfortable! Pool area is great, no overcrowding and a great children’s pool/slides with a small children’s park alongside the pool in a shaded area. Highly recommended, will definitely plan a return visit. Staff very friendly and animation team couldn’t do more to involve the children in all the activities.
