Hotel d'Or

Racja, my też zaczynamy…. Plusy… jedzenie w porządku! Jakiś cudowny personel! Cala dor piękne miejsce .. wady …. Personel zdecydowanie ma faworytów, jeden kelner (claudio) wybiera, komu chciałby służyć, a komu nie! Zostawiliśmy nasze talerze na jeden posiłek, kiedy byliśmy tylko my i na innej parze, więc ostatecznie sam je wziąłem! Do tego trochę plotek! Sprawili, że poczuliśmy się niekomfortowo, gdy jedliśmy w którejkolwiek jadalni, w której nie służył! Wymyśl wymówki, że nie ma pokoju do późnego wymeldowania, więc musisz spędzić 7 godzin, starając się nie zgrzać i nie spocić, zanim wyruszysz na lotnisko! Brak informacji o pokojach w planie działania hotelu, musisz to rozpracować sam! Tylko 1 drzwi w naszej przesuwnej szafie, wentylator wyciągowy nigdy nie działał w łazience, z bardzo dziwnego powodu nie ma klamki na zewnątrz drzwi balkonowych, więc jeśli zamkniesz drzwi na balkonie, aby mieć włączoną klimatyzację zamknąłby się! Dlaczego ?????? Nigdy nie znałem czegoś takiego! Tak naprawdę, kiedy tam byliśmy, ktoś utknął na balkonie i musiał wołać o pomoc! ŁÓŻKA!!!! …teraz leżak możesz mieć tylko wtedy, gdy wstaniesz o boskiej godzinie 7 rano i zbiegniesz po jedno! I zrobili to! Jeśli byłeś na nogach po 8:30, zapomnij o tym! Mają nawet znak informujący, że jest to zabronione, ale wszyscy to ignorują! Zgłosiłem to recepcjonistce, ale powiedzieli, że nic nie mogą zrobić! W każdym razie nie przejmowaliśmy się codziennym siedzeniem przy basenie, lubiliśmy odwiedzać różne plaże, ale wykonaliśmy dobrą robotę, dzień, w którym usiedliśmy przy basenie, to był czysty dramat! 2 pary pokłóciły się o leżaki i nawet ratownik zdejmował ręczniki z łóżka niektórych, ponieważ poszli na lunch! Nigdy nie znałem takiego hotelu! Personel nic nie robi, nawet im to nie przeszkadza! Rozrywka niezbyt dobra, ale główna część Cala Dor jest pełna restauracji, barów i sklepów, więc i tak jest mnóstwo do zobaczenia, złapaliśmy lokalny autobus i odwiedziliśmy kilka innych małych plaż, które były oszałamiające! Jedyna rzecz w plaży Cala Gran (naprzeciwko hotelu jest taka, że ​​znowu ludzie wstają wcześnie o 7 rano i kładą ręczniki na leżakach! (na plaży!!!) niewiarygodne! Jeszcze zanim pojawi się facet, któremu trzeba zapłacić Wypróbuj inne małe plaże w okolicy! Nie masz z nimi problemu! Mieliśmy cudowną sprzątaczkę o imieniu Marta! Była świetna, ale kiedy nie była na zmianie, musieliśmy zadzwonić po ręczniki i kawę i herbatę zapełniona, ponieważ ona też nie wyszła.. Pierwsza recenzja, którą napisałem, ale byłem tak zdenerwowany hotelem, że poczułem, że muszę to napisać, nigdy więcej się tu nie zatrzymam, nie jest to standard 4 gwiazdek, który zwykle otrzymujemy w innych hotelach, szkoda, bo hotel jest w pięknym miejscu, a tak przy okazji, depresyjna Muriel, którą widzisz, idąc wzdłuż ściany w jadalni, jest okropna, gdy siedzisz i się na nią gapisz, potrzebujesz czegoś jasny i podnoszący na duchu.. w przyszłym roku w znacznie lepszym hotelu!

When I booked this trip it was mostly based on value for money and that's what it was. The room was basic but I didn't book 5* so it was as expected and having a bath was lovely on a particularly cold miserable day there! There are plenty of sunbeds and a lovely bar..the barman was warm and friendly running around doing multiple jobs at times. As a female travelling alone this place was perfect as it was small and friendly. I had a late flight and could pay extra to keep my room and the staff I found welcoming to me. Great holiday, met some lovely people and the area was fabulous...can't wait to return!

I stayed here July 23 on a solo trip and had the most fantastic week. I have been to Cala D'or many times with my family but this was the first time solo. This hotel is right in the centre with a Spar opposite so a great position. The room was basic and very clean, I didn't spend much time on it tbh. The staff were super friendly and helped me with my Spanish. The food was great and the pool was super. I never struggled to get a sunbed. I would definitely come back to this hotel and I can high recommend for solo travellers because they do solo rates.

Solo female 28 year old traveller. The hotel room was clean, safe and air con included. Towels and bins changed daily. The hotel was nice and quiet, no kids during my stay (2nd week of October 2023). Most of the hotel staff were friendly and polite, a couple of the women didn't even look up or say hello when I walked through the reception/bar, I thought this to be rude, but as I say this was only a couple of the staff, the rest were lovely. Hotel is in a good location; 1 minute walk from shops/bars/restaurants, 7 minute walk to cala dor/petita, 5 minuye walk to harbour, 10 minute walk to cala gran, 15 minute walk to cala emeralda, 40 minute walk to es forti, 50 minute walk to piscina natural (this is not full of water, rather was less than quarter filled with nasty green water). No complaints on the hotel to be honest. The buffet breakfast was great with small changes in meats and pastries daily, all very tasty, included cereals and fresh fruit too. The pool is not really big enough to swim more than a few breaststrokes (as a long limbed individual), but with the beaches close that was no issue for me, so I didn't even go in the pool. As a solo traveller I would not return to Cala D'Or as I found most people unfriendly and rude, the only people I engaged in any coversation with were English or French. Waiters and waitresses were polite, as expected. I didn't feel particularly unsafe in Cala D'Or but it didnt have a warm feel, I was cat called a few times but was left alone if I paid no attention, kept walking and ignored. For me, compared to Kos in Greece, I felt a little isolated and the place felt cold because of the unfriendly people around. Overall I really enjoyed swimming in the sea and exploring the rocky coast. But the crowded beaches and lack of friendly atmosphere would not make me return. To reiterate the hotel was great, and not the reason I would not return.

Stayed at this small and peaceful hotel. Room we had was spotless and room cleaned everyday with new towels daily. Pool small but more than adequate for size of hotel. Never a problem getting a sunbed. Went for breakfast in hotel for 9.90 euros and very nice. Enough restaurants around easy walking distance if you want to eat out. Girls worked their socks off behind bar and reception always with a smile. Have stayed in cala dor 5 times and by far the most relaxing hotel. This is my experience and I'm quite fussy about things and can't fault hotel. My only 2 points for hotel is, 1, I know you don't go on holiday to watch TV, but only 1 English channel. ( bbc2) . And would be great if there was maybe a drying rack on balcony. There you go, my honest feedback for hotel. Will go again next year.

Adjust water temperature in shower takes 10 min. Very close to the street, noisy in terasse. But vhen you close balkony dor its ok, we hear only air conditioner. Rest is ok.

What a wonderful hotel in a brilliant location. Our week away was great. This hotel is a gem in the centre of cala d'or. The whole place, rooms, pool area, bar etc is spotless and the small team of staff work tirelessly to keep it that way. The rooms are small, but are perfectly done so that staying there is not a problem. The beds were large and very comfortable. They cleaned the room every day and changed towels. We had a room with no fridge or kettle, but worked around it and, by the second day, it hardly mattered. Breakfast was wonderful and catered for all tastes. The area is great and everything was easily accessed from this hotel. The beaches are nice but very small, and most of the days we could not get a sunbed and that was in June, but again, we made it work. Lena the Manager was great, professional, friendly and very helpful. The couple of small hiccups we had at the beginning were dealt with by her and her lovely team quickly and well. All the staff were wonderful. But, in particular Dorota and Ezequiel were so good and helped us a lot. Fantastic holiday, fantastic hotel and we will be back. Thank you all of you.

A lovely, quiet hotel located a short walk from the town centre. We stayed for 9 nights in July and loved it. All the staff were really friendly, the hotel's public areas are beautifully decorated and it seems the bedrooms are getting there too. Breakfast had a nice selection. The pool was clean and always had a nice relaxed vibe during the day. There was a good selection of drinks and whilst lunch was basic it didn't really matter as you're a 2 minute walk from the restaurants and cafe's in the town. The closest beach is Cala Gran which is a 10 minute walk away and the Marina is 5 minutes away. There's a Spar right opposite. You honestly can't get a much better location. WiFi was outstanding throughout the whole hotel, I was working away during this break and never once had any connection issues. The only things to be mindful of are that the rooms are pretty basic, there's no tea/coffee facilities in them, and the bathroom is completely glass so if you're sharing, be prepared to either bear all or have to sit outside everytime the other person uses the bathroom/shower. There is some noise from the neighbouring bars in the evening and night, but I couldn't hear it once the door to my room was closed. If you're likely to be affected by this I'd recommend requesting a room in Block 3. I'd definitely return again, although it'd be in my own room.

Central location, walkable to wide choice of restaurants, beaches and marina. Ideal for couples wanting a relaxing break.
