The accommodation needs updating and needs TLC until they get round to it. It is very clean, staff are friendly and happy to help. where we had fridge and kettle need to have double plug, they was quick and gave me a extension lead to use both together. it a shame bar inside not opened as we had windy nights and we was sat pool bar with patio heaters on which i didnt do.
Lovely that in your accommodation you are told about put your towels down around the pool, that they get removed if not being used so no blocking sunbeds.
could do with some paperwork for you to keep on your visit on what time you choice for meals and also what time snacks available on the all inclusive.
It a lovely touch that you get a towel for you to use at the pool i not been to hotel that gives you them..
Food is good for a 3star only thing would be a problem in higher season is only 1 toaster in dining room.
I full enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again..

I know people have put about road outside but the hotel can not be held responsible for this as it down to council..

Bardzo miła obsługa. Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Hotel dla niewymagających . Pokoje wymagają odświeżenia. Rewelacyjna lokalizacja do zwiedzania wyspy. Pokój dla 5 osób składał się z salonu, dwóch sypialni i dwóch łazienek czyli warunki rewelacyjne.

Jest to podstawowy hotel, który wydaje się być skierowany do tanich wczasowiczów, głównie Brytyjczyków, o ile mogłem się zorientować. Ani pokoje, ani restauracja nie są klimatyzowane - wachlowaliśmy się i pociliśmy w restauracji podczas lunchu w październiku. Obiad w formie bufetu był jadalny, choć bez inspiracji, chleb był najprzyjemniejszą rzeczą i był wybór napojów. W pokojach nie ma Wi-Fi, więc upewnij się, że masz dużo danych / bezpłatny roaming danych w telefonie. Pokój był czysty, ale bardzo przestarzały i poważnie wymaga remontu. Miał telewizor, który grał BBC1, 2 i ITV. Miał bezpieczną, ale bez suszarki do włosów, więc weź ją, jeśli jej potrzebujesz. Biorąc pod uwagę brak klimatyzacji i niemożność picia wody z kranu, brakowało mi maleńkiej lodówki, w której można schłodzić butelkę wody lub puszkę coli. To tylko 5 minut spacerem do bardzo ładnego supermarketu Hiperdino Express z dobrym asortymentem. Nie jest też daleko od lotniska.

Lovely staff, great location biggest downside there is only the outside pool bar brrr in the evenings, 7 years ago the inside one was in use. Didn't like the one token each to get drinks. In the evening folk were up and down to bar all night for half pint in plastic tumblers, cocktails very weak. No token no drink. Shame as you wear the bands. Food was hit or miss but was always salad to fall back on. Road works were horrendous, no siesta there. Pretty place so shame things let it down. Very cold in apartment had to get more blankets. Would we go back...sadly no.

We decided to escape the winter weather, 6 of us 3 couples. We had the most amazing time at SMY tahona. We were a little concerned as there were a few negative reviews. There was absolutely nothing I could fault. All needs met by the wonderful staff, Dani at pool bar, Miguel animations who constantly entertained us. The cleaning staff worked so hard to keep the place spotless. The standard of food was exceptional you can see on my pics there was always a multiple choice fro breakfast. Lunch and evening meals, snacks by the pool We celebrated my husbands birthday whilst there and the staff made him a special cocktail, gave him bottle of cava. It was all brill thank you Tahona

Well what can I say what a fantastic holiday, was a bit disappointed at check in as I had wanted 3 rooms together. But convinced to look where they were by manager and must say they were perfect a room between us all which worked out very well. Staff perfect all friendly from the domestics, bar staff, kitchen and reception very approachable, food I can’t believe the bad reviews we allways found something delicious to eat from the salads to the freshly cooked fish, there is a micro wave if it’s a bit cool but we never needed it, big shout out to Miguel (peep peep), Daniel and all other staff at smy we are already looking to come back. Also perfect location roadworks are not heard if you round the pool, Thank you tahona for a fantastic holiday from the 6 of us xxx

We are there this week. First the negatives - This is not beach front, you can see the sea but it's a 15-20 walk to a beach. The bathroom is shabby, small & dirty. The shower broke twice and flooded & the maintenance man trod mud everywhere. The outside is a building site so the coach dumped us in the next road to walk with our luggage. The breakfast is ok but the other meals didn't look or taste good. No hairdryer or iron. The good points - quiet location near a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely pool area with plenty of beds. Pleasant staff.

Happy with the experience we had for the price we paid. If you don’t pay for the Ritz then don’t expect it! Good points: - plenty of sunbeds - large rooms - quick service at the bar - 10 min flat walk to the beach/ town - no booming music playing 24/7 - staff were mostly friendly To be improved: - could be cleaner but nothing that major - may be a personal preference but not a fan of shower curtains, seems unhygienic - food was warm and plentiful but lacking much taste, good enough for standard Brits who don’t enjoy the local dishes - no real welcome, just a here’s your wristband and directed to the room on the map As I said, if you’re after a cheap and easy getaway this is a good choice. Nothing spectacular but a comfortable home for a week. Thank you!
