Aurora Park Cottages

Loved that the fig tree in front of our cottage allowed us to pick some deliciously ripe figs. The Innkeeper, Kate was very responsive to our needs and provided us with decaf coffee and tea per our request. She also gave me a bag for the figs we picked. Breakfast of fresh raspberry and honeydew melon, warm blueberry muffin, and carafe of orange juice delivered in a basket to the cottage is very nice. The bear claw pastry wasn't very tasty although it was large and warm. It was nice to have the coffee maker, hot water pot and microwave in the room.

A must to check out if your are planning on visiting the Napa Valley. Centrally located for easy travel within the Napa/Sonoma Valleys.

Aurora Park Cottages offers the best in location, views and hospitality. It's an easy walk into town, yet far enough away to provide the right atmosphere for enjoying your coffee/pastries in the morning, or a glass of wine at night on the deck of your cottage. .It's just the best place to stay in Calistoga!

This cozy little cottages are in the perfect location. Clean and friendly! The hand delivered breakfast every morning gives you a wonderful bed and breakfast feel.

I recently stayed at Aurora Park Cottages for a solo getaway, hoping for a peaceful and pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my visit was far from that. Upon check-in, I mentioned I was staying solo, and Kate at the front desk commented, "That's sad," which made me feel uncomfortable but I brushed it off. Her demeanor gave off a blabbermouth vibe, which was concerning for security reasons since I am a woman traveling solo so I later added a name to the room. The room itself was disappointing. It appeared much more frumpy in person than in the photos. Several electrical outlets did not work, forcing me to use the coffee maker across the room. Additionally, the dust accumulation under the bed was significant and likely the reason my sinuses were clogged in the morning. The advertised "garden view" from the patio was misleading; it was actually a porch with old furniture and a view of the driveway, partially obscured by some bushes. On a positive note, the pastries delivered in the morning were delicious, and the croissant was the best I've ever had. The final straw was when I decided to shorten my stay. Kate's attitude shifted from unprofessional to downright rude and nasty. Even though I still had to pay for an additional night, I chose to leave early. I was genuinely surprised by her behavior. I had planned this trip to celebrate my birthday in a clean and serene environment, but unfortunately, this hotel did not meet my expectations. I ended up checking into another place to salvage my getaway.

Stayed in a queen cottage. Really fun experience having a nice place to relax. We were able to dine out on our patio with food delivery and curl up in the oversized chairs for some television and reading. Great location and great service. Loved the fresh pastries, juice and fruit delivery daily. Wonderful amenities in the cottage.

Great location in Calistoga to wineries and downtown! Perfectly private and great service! The beds were tremendous and super comfortable! Will definitely stay again!

I love staying here at Aurora Park Cottages. I have a studio to myself with no neighbors banging on my hotel walls and ceiling. It is clean, quiet and very cozy. Having a warm breakfast delivered every morning with fruit and juice was just over the top care by staff. If you don't care about a pool or hot tub and just want a nice bed, your own porch in the trees, relaxed atmosphere close to town and personal attention from the owner, this is the place to stay.
