Warm welcome from the owners. Really comfortable beds in tastefully decorated room with lovely toiletries. Delicious breakfast whilst watching red squirrels play in the garden. Would highly recommend pre-booked evening meal. Callendar a great place to explore from

Excellent guest house - rooms very comfortable. The owners made us feel very welcome. Excellent breakfasts. Ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. Would thoroughly recommend booking a meal for one evening - loved the Italian meal we had.

You will be warmly welcomed here by Stefano and Francesca.. The twin room was tastefully decorated, the beds and especially the pillows were very comfy, the bathroom fresh and clean with good quality toiletries. However the food is the star here. do choose to have dinner if you can and you will experience delicious authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients such as burrata, Norcia sausage, carefully cooked and beautufully presented. The breakfast buffet is also extensive and the cooked dishes tasty. The trossachs area has plenty of walks at all levels and the scenery is magnificent. No need to go to the Highlands , stop off here!

This is a lovely home and a well-managed inn with superb food. Francesca and Stefano are charming and very welcoming. The sheets are ultra soft and the rooms are tastefully decorated. We had dinner at the inn one night and it was a private chef experience and very memorable. It is an easy walk to shops and restaurants while being tucked away and quiet.

Stefano, a big thank you for being such a great host! We had a blast staying at your awesome guest house for two nights. It's a shame we missed out on trying your highly recommended dinner though. Callander is such a charming town with beautiful lochs and stunning views all around. It was the perfect place to kick off our cycling journey.

We have just returned from 3 nights at Lubnaig, run by the lovely Francesca and Stefano. The guesthouse is tastefully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. There is a beautiful guest lounge and the restaurant, where breakfast and meals are served, has lovely views out to the garden. Bedrooms are warm and comfortable. The guesthouse is on a quiet residential road, a short walk from the centre. Stefano and Francesca are fabulous chefs. Breakfasts are delicious. We also had a superb meal on our first evening - by far the best food we had all weekend. Would highly recommend Lubnaig if you are staying in the area.

Lovely welcome made us feel so relaxed we stayed last night . fantastic welcome lovely room great quality bed linen and towels and also Access to the main home as we stayed in the Gillian room in the converted stables very comfortable bed and good toiletries and good shower.fantastic location so wish we pre booked to have dinner there but was last minute when we booked and has to be a min of four guests. The breakfast room was just so beautiful and what a choice and everything was delicious I had got given a pot of coffee what was perfect and my love of my life Steven X had a pot of tea the breakfast was delicious and service fabulous.we didn't want to leave. Will hopefully be back soon X it's a golden nugget in a steam of pebbles. Thanks so much your all amazing keep it up xx

We have just left to continue on our journey after a couple of very enjoyable nights at Lubnaig. We had a lovely reception from the hosts who made us feel welcome, and were attentive and relaxed. The breakfast was lovely, especially as they were able to provide a gluten free option with no fuss. We would certainly recommend them, and hope to return again. Thanks.

I have just come back from a lovely weekend at the Lubnaig Guesthouse. Fantastic accommodation, and fabulous service, from the hosts and their staff. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. We felt very looked after during our stay. Would definitely recommend.
