Beachcombers Hotel

This was my second time here,2023/2024 The staff was amazing as always.The rooms need a slight update but I’m sure that will happen. Food was 10/10 and the beach and the relaxing atmosphere was lovely. In all very very happy. See you in 2025. Thanks to everyone at at the beachcombers.

We loved the hotel and the service was excellent but the restaurant on site didn't give good value for the money. The meals were nothing like the photos on the ******* page. They were very basic. Salads had few ingredients and were undressed. They also seemed to have trouble with availability of produce. The beach is lovely and just a few steps from the pool patio. Beautiful view and lovely sunsets. Unfortunately, this area isn't very "user friendly" for tourism. It's a bit hard (and expensive) to go and do things. But it's wonderful if you just want to relax and stay at the resort.

This hotel is spread across several buildings right next to the sea and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had a deluxe room with garden view and thought it was great. Spacious, clean, very comfortable bed, and a delightful balcony overlooking the gardens. Everything worked well. However the views do vary as our travelling companion had the same category of room but no view whatsoever, just facing a wall. The area around the pool and restaurant is beautiful, next to the beach, although the pool is not much bigger than a plunge-pool. Strangely there are very few sun beds and no brollies. One thing we didn’t like was the constant music being played, not especially loud but just irritating. It completely ruined the serenity of the place. Having said that, if you enjoy swimming and sunbathing there is a beautiful beach close by and the sea was marvellously clear and warm. We didn’t use the restaurant much as it seemed rather pricey - for better value stroll along the beach to Mangoz, also The Bungalow restaurant where we had some excellent meals. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and organised taxis for us into Kingstown. We did venture onto the local buses as well, but they’re not for the faint-hearted as they’re little minibuses driven fast and you’re squashed in like sardines - however they’re dirt cheap (2.50 EC$ into Kingstown). Overall an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here before a couple years ago and loved it. Returned and was very disappointed. Bed linen was changed 8 days after arrival. Bathroom smelled of urine from a dirty shower curtain. Cable TV went down on Sunday, left on Wednesday and still no service. Much to be desired from a business traveler who is not planning to return to the hotel.

Friendly staff, on beach with access, sax player in evening, comfortable beds, large showers, strong water pressure, coffee/tea in room, fridge.

Beautiful well maintained property. The rooms and balconies were spacious and clean. The restaurant, bar, pool and beach areas were fantastic.

Beautiful, charming hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Gorgeous grounds. Lovely restaurant on site. Lovely small pool, limited shade. Large rooms, most with big balconies or patios. Good value. Only downside we found were hard beds, but not a deal breaker. Nice to be on beach, but beach is small and domewhat dirty. Felt very safe at hotel. Great views. Highly recommend.

My day was amazing. The staff was friendly and courteous. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Every day someone will come in to check our room and clean. The food and the service was great.To sit and eat while looking at the beach or the sunset was an amazing task.

The vibe of the hotel exceeded our expectations. Although there were a few children there, the place is very romantic and adult. We really enjoyed listening to the poolside music with the waves coming in on the swim beach. The rum punch was the best of all the ones we sampled in the Grenadines.
