H10 Cambrils Playa

We stayed here for 10 days and our trip was nothing but amazing! 10/10 for hotel rooms, staff, food, pool and an outstanding shout out to the entertainment team who are one of the very best. We have stayed in 4 H10 hotels and they are always amazing holidays.

The entrance to the hotel is stunning and what you would expect of a H10 - that familiar smell and those recognisable floor tiles. Surrounding the reception area is a mezzanine book ended with glass lifts and a marble spiral staircase to the centre. It gives ‘Towering Inferno’ style glamour. The receptionists are warm & welcoming and check in is an easy process. The rooms are smaller than expected but there is enough space for two people to move around - but not lounge. It is clean and modern with traditional tiling framing the roomy walk in shower. The outside balcony has two chairs and a table - again, small & compact. Tea making facilities are available but at request and additional cost. On first look, the pool seems small but it is actually larger than anticipated. It is the perfect temperature and makes for a delightful dip on hot days. The sun loungers are in excellent condition and there are plenty - no need to rush and dump your towels. The lifeguard keeps an eye and any sun loungers left for a longer period of time, have towels removed. Throughout the day there is a fantastic animación team full of enthusiasm and energy. It’s hard to not join in on the activities. A huge plus for this hotel is the access to free, chilled water throughout the day. The restaurant is adorned with stylish furnishings. Although it is small, there is always a good selection of food available at breakfast and dinner. There is a heavy emphasis on fruit & salad so if you are wanting a full fry up, you will be disappointed. The gentleman who is one of the restaurant managers, has charm & charisma and is a welcome greeting on an evening. There is always a selection of fresh meat & fish alongside pasta, salad & some delicious form of potato. So the downsides - This hotel is catered heavily for Spanish guests so bare this in mind. Although it is a stunning place and there are no complaints, it is lacking in what I would call ‘British expectations’ such as the lack of kettle in the room & dinner service (waiters not being able to give wine recommendations or pouring it for you). I also miss having a teapot at breakfast. The guests are mostly Spanish also which could leave you feeling slightly out of place. I would also say, although the pool area floor is clear of rubbish, due to the number of plants & trees, it can get quite messy through the day. All in all, I would happily return to this hotel and the beautiful area of Cambrils.

We stayed 12 days in H10Cambrils, it was absolutely fantastic! Very big and clean room with everything what you need! Coffee machine, fridge, 2 TV, sofa and big and comfortable bed. A lot of places around pool. Fantastic staff in bar and reception. Everyone very helpful and friendly in hotel.Thank you for your work! Very close to the beach! We will back again next year!

Pablo bar staff Pablo is one of the best Barman/ bar staff iv had in years he's always happy to help and is very friendly and is asset to the hotel Receptionist staff Julia is very helpful and friendly and always smiling and will go above and beyond to help you with any inquiry Entertainment team Oscar and the team are very very helpful with the kids and always try to get the adults involved in games good for the hotel

Really nice hotel, safe for families and parents travelling alone with kids. I travelled alone with my nine year old. Was very impressed with hotel. Small enough to feel safe with kids but just big enough for decent holiday vibe. Reception staff are very efficient and helpful. We hired bikes from reception (pay cash) and it only cost €24 for a day for 2 bikes. We cycled to Salou and Cambrils. Food was lovely. We always found something to eat and the drinks are reasonably priced. The pool area is very clean and yes there are restrictions on pool toys/accessories but the beach is a short walk away if you fancy that. The animation team were AMAZING!! They instantly put me at ease as they were so welcoming and I knew my daughter was safe with them, even when they went to the park/tennis courts, which are across the road. I did take a wander over to see how they were getting on. She loved it - this was great for me as I felt supported by them. Ali and Oscar were fabulous. Yes the family entertainment section is short but we also enjoyed the main entertainment after Daisy Club departed. And yes that meant later nights but we are on holiday - sleep in!!! We took a day trip to Barcelona organised by Jet2 travel rep. Great day out but be sure and ask when the cruise ships are in the port as these days are much busier. Also buy your tickets to Parc Guell online a few days before as they sell out!!! The hotel is in a nice area, between Salou and Cambrils. Bus stop right outside. Get T10 card from bus plana shop outside hotel.

We have just returned from an absolutely amazing 2 weeks at this hotel. I could not fault anything and both myself and my 10 year old son had the best time, made extra special by the 3 entertainers Ali, Judit and Oscar who are honestly just so funny, friendly and made our stay so special. All the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly also. The restaurant is great and full of variety with great choice of food to suit anyone. The rooms are clean and spacious. The lobby area nice and evening entertainment was brilliant when on outside stage. The day entertainment was a lot of fun and we tried many new activities. Tennis and table tennis also free to play. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring, you can get a bus ticket for €10 from the bus plana shop right next to the hotel which allows 10 single trips which you can do to cambrils, salou and Tarragona. The beach is also less than a minute walk away with lovely soft sand. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel at the last minute to escape the weather in the UK. We are so glad we did as it was just perfect. All the staff were amazing and made our stay so enjoyable. The hotel was absolutely spotless. We don’t really like buffet food but could always find something nice to eat. Whilst sunbathing you can order delicious cocktails to your lounger and we have to mention Pablo who was great. Our room had everything we needed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. We will definitely come back.

We discovered this Hotel last year , and were so impressed that this was our 4th visit. All staff offer service with a smile and are so welcoming. The Hotel is spotlessly clean in all areas , with the rooms having comfortable beds , a great shower and all you would need for a relaxing break. Restaurant staff work tirelessly to keep food replenished at all times......so much choice to suit everyone's taste....fantastic !. Entertainment available throughout the day and evenings. Location is just perfect for a peaceful holiday , beach just over the road and lovely promenade all the way to Cambrils or Salou , ( and beyond ) ,i n the opposite direction. We love walking so it was just ideal. Public transport just outside the Hotel for those who needed it. We shall return !!.

The staff were lovely. Polite &cheerful &helpfull. Location 2 minutes from sandy beach .bus stop also close and regular bus to cambrils which takes around 5 mins . The rooms were clean &comfortable and towels changes daily Good variety of tasty well prepared food at all meal times. Beautiful large pool and surrounding area Would recommend this hotel &would return.
