This hotel is in a nice location, not far from the river, quiet in the evenings. Not far from important places. It is a large hotel with big rooms, large reception area, easy parking, has a grand feeling to it. But the hotel is not being kept up well. Walls have marks on them, carpets have stains, it looks and feels old. And so instead of making renovations and modern changes, they include breakfast buffets and lower the price some days. It’s too bad, I’m sure when the hotel first opened, many people talked about it.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Can Tho and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I felt like I was staying in a luxurious retreat with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast buffet was simply awesome, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. I especially enjoyed the freshly squeezed juices and the omelette station. The staff were always attentive and made sure that everything was perfect. The club lounge was a great touch, providing a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy a drink after a long day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that all my needs were taken care of. And last but certainly not least, the gym was absolutely amazing. It was well equipped with top-of-the-line equipment and had a great view of the city. I enjoyed working out every morning and it was a great way to start the day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Sheraton Can Tho and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The great rooms, awesome breakfast, club lounge, and gym all made my stay a memorable one. Thank you to the staff for making it such a great experience!

There are plenty of dining options and shops nearby. The bed was comfortable and quite big (seemed wider than a regular King size bed). Breakfast was good.

The environment is really great, the island is left alone, there are lush ancient banyan trees everywhere, the rooms are sanitary twice a day, the quality of the hotel staff is also very good, and they smile every time they meet. On the island, you can ride a bicycle and dance with nature in the fragrance of lotus. It is really beautiful! Con Khuong Resort Rooms are great. Big. Spacious, super clean and a big bath with full scenic views as it opens into the bedroom with a glass pane that could be closed off with a screen. It had a stunning floating tub that I enjoyed particulary! The balcony was spacious and overlooked the pool. We had a double room, deluxe. The scenery from the balcony was incredible. It had complete privacy as it had treetops and a gorgeous river view beyond the pool views which were right below. They arranged for netflix connectivity on the smart tv as soon as we requested. The rooms are new and well maintained. The resort is well run. From time we checked in things went smoothly and every request from the room was taken seriously and responded to at once. Check out was delayed by some unwarranted time. Took almost 20 min from the time we came out from our room though we checked out at the same time we had informed them prevous day. So not sure why so much delay even if they wanted to check the rooms. Most hotels take negligible time even if they wait for the room check as its merely a formality and all the bills ought to be ready. With the result our cab was made to wait for 20 min as it had came on time for airport drop! The pool service was lacking. The pool itself is strangely designed in depth . Its sloping sharply from 0.5m to 1.6m in a very narrow distance so felt odd . Also there were no pools handles to hold on to walking in and out of it. So getting in and out was very challenging. Especially so for those with accessibility issues and for senior citizens. Not to mention dangerous as well as the risk of slipping is high. Also the pool deck area has no accessibility slope so had steps or was one really high height to access . Other than that the pool was lovely and very relaxing as it was exquisetely set admist a lotus water garden of pink and white giant lotuses. The whole resort garden was beautifully maintained. Pool service itself was poor. Nobody to get the towels or clear the dirty ones off the loungers. Nor was there any proper service. Every time I would have to go over all the way up to the pool bar and cafe and ask for a menu or for somebody to come and take an order. At times I had to stand for a really long time at the pool deck and look for somebody to come attend or catch an attendants attention. The showers were in a really odd far off place and in a closed off room so had to walk all the way there which entailed a lot of steps again. It would have been easy if there were an open shower by the pool area. The resort itself is very serene and calm and right by the river. The location is sublime and you can enjoy the beatitude and calm that envelops the place naturally. I really was looking forward to enjoying the balcony. But it was ruined by nightfall as it has a big light that comes on automatically. So we cannot enjoy it the way we like. Ideally I like to sit at dusk and enjoy the birds and the fading light. I stayed for 22 nights at the Ninh Kieu hotel in Can Tho. The breakfast there was excellent. The location was great. I enjoyed walking down to the river parks each evening. A rather large shopping mall was next door and they had about 6 places to eat. The food court and night market was close by. The staff was very friendly. They even had a great cleaning service which is helpful when you are travel for over a month. Can Tho University, Campus 2 was an easy taxi ride away.

I booked this hotel last minute after deciding to leave where I had planned to stay overnight. There weren’t a lot of economical choices remaining. The hotel lobby is somewhat lavish, the room I had was basic, but clean (especially compared to where I’d left!), and the bed was comfortable. Walls are a little thin, so you can hear folks in the hallway, and the hotel is generally a little worn. But a good value for the price.

Every time we went to Can Tho, we stayed to the Saigon Cantho Hotel. This time we saw the deterioration of this hotel which is no longer a 3 star hotel. Very nice welcome. The people at the reception are always friendly and professional. They are very customer-friendly. There is no longer a bellboy to carry the luggage and show the rooms. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and quiet. THE NEGATIVE : the buffet breakfast included in the price is a disaster, a joke of bad taste. No respect for hotel guests. The servers are completely incompetent : one of them, the tallest in size, hides behind the counter to play on his phone. The other boy, behind his soup cart, tries to do his job and that of his friend, but seems to have no motivation. No manager came during our presence to monitor the work of the servers. They are left to their own devices without any control from their leader. Buffet food is miserable and looks like leftover meals from the day or days before. Many customers enter the buffet breakfast room, watch the culinary disaster and leave without even having a coffee. Such a situation is unworthy of a 3 star hotel. From now on I will stay in another hotel in Can Tho.

It was a busy weekend in Can Tho as all the major hotels were booked and Lan Vy was one of the few available so I thought I’d take a chance. I reserved a room on booking.com and upon approaching the hotel all I could notice were the ****s popping up from the pavement and the scads of garbage out front. The lobby was dark and unwelcoming. These factors made me ask to inspect the room before agreeing to stay. Myself and my 3 friends took the elevator up to the room and were overwhelmed with the stench of mold. I kneeled on the bed and the mattress was harder than a rock. The real kicker was that the rooms shown had no windows. Needless to say, we left as soon as we arrived. I don’t usually review hotels that I’ve never ‘slept’ in, but I’m making an exception here as it’s unsafe and wholly unhealthy to sleep in a room(s) that has noticeable mold issues. The owners of this establishment should be on notice. That said, once we informed the front desk that we wouldn’t be staying the night, they didn’t make a fuss.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2019. It is located on the Hai Ba Trung Street, and therefore, walking distant to many of the local attractions. We had a window room overlooking the Can Tho River. The rooms were clean and sheets were changed, every day we were there. Bed were soft and we had a good sleep. There was a TV with both local and some foreign channels. A fridge was provided with complimentary water. Hot water facilities for tea/coffee were available. All toiletries were provided. There was cold and hot water in the shower. Wifi was strong and constant. Breakfast was adequate. There was fruit juices and coffee. All the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. When we told them, that we will be checking out early morning to catch our flight back, they packed breakfast for us. I found this hotel, an Ideal place to stay. Will stay here again in future.

I really enjoyed my two-night stay here. I was lucky to have room #4 with a balcony and a great view over the river. The room has a spacious sitting room, separate bedroom with a comfy bed and powerful AC, and a shower with piping hot water and good water pressure. There was plenty of free drinking water as well as a free alcoholic welcome drink and fruit basket on arrival. The room is clean and has plenty of character. Being a small hotel, the receptionist remembered my name and was very friendly. The hotel has a fabulous restaurant and rooftop bar, and the location can't be beat. I deducted one star because the wi-fi didn't work during my stay so I had to change a few scheduled online work meetings to phone calls. Despite the wi-fi issues, I would definitely stay here again during future trips to Can Tho. I preferred this hotel over the neighboring TTC Hotel. If you visit Can Tho, grab a coffee at Time Cafe, have a cocktail at N-Nice' Cocktail and Bar and eat at Ban Xeo 7 Toi.

Dishonest and misleading hotel. Believe the poor reviews. Lots of ************ business in the area. I had booked hotel room for 7 days but cancelled it after staying one night. I booked two rooms via agoda. When I got to the hotel yesterday, I was informed that the included breakfast was not at their hotel. Hotel receptionist said it was hotel policy to keep passport. I told her she could take a photocopy of it but I was uncomfortable with her keeping it. She insisted that was the only way we could get the room and she would return it in the morning. Although hotel is new, it is poorly constructed and necessary amenities are lacking. Hand soap for both rooms were unavailable and hotel staff said they ran out. Rooms did not have safety latch on doors. Room safes were light metal boxes that can easily be lifted and removed from room. What’s the point? Bathtub shower is mounted about knee height, and there are no shower curtains so water drips everywhere. Breakfast was at a different hotel and was clearly stale old food that they must have put out for multiple days now. 90% of the businesses in this neighborhood are massage parlours that advertise “beautiful girls between 18-25.” Based on the men that hang around the neighborhood and the amount of massage parlours, I would not recommend any hotel in this area. Many of the hotels in the neighborhood have massage parlours attached to their hotel and have signs offering hotel room rentals by the hour. Holiday 2 hotel has a “massage parlour” as well on the 11th floor. Before I checked out I went to see if it was a real massage spa. Clearly it was not as they were not open yet and it was already noon. The room has a bed rather than a massage table. I had agoda cancel the rest of my booking with this hotel. Agoda was able to cancel for me without any charges, but the hotel refused to release my passport unless I paid for the two hotel rooms at an inflated price, their walk in price. I ended up having to pay double the rate that I had paid agoda in order to have hotel release my passport back. And the hotel had the audacity to try to charge me for the breakfast even though it was included in the agoda price. I moved to a different hotel and paid more but i am so glad i left this hotel and the neighbourhood it is in. This place will try to squeeze get every extra dollar they can from you.

The hotel is very close to the harbor. Staff is friendly and helpful. We booked our tour to the floating market Cai Rang over the hotel. Our nice tour guide Mr. Hai picked us up at 5 in the morning at the hotel. With a small boat (not a tourist boat) in the morning mood we went up the river to Cai Rang. During the trip Hai told us many interesting details about the market Cai Rang, life in the market and at the Detalta. Then it went to a pasta factory and in an orchard. We can highly recommend you tour with Mr. Hai!!!

This hotel is in a nice location, not far from the river, quiet in the evenings. Not far from important places. It is a large hotel with big rooms, large reception area, easy parking, has a grand feeling to it. But the hotel is not being kept up well. Walls have marks on them, carpets have stains, it looks and feels old. And so instead of making renovations and modern changes, they include breakfast buffets and lower the price some days. It’s too bad, I’m sure when the hotel first opened, many people talked about it.

Con Khuong Resort Rooms are great. Big. Spacious, super clean and a big bath with full scenic views as it opens into the bedroom with a glass pane that could be closed off with a screen. It had a stunning floating tub that I enjoyed particulary! The balcony was spacious and overlooked the pool. We had a double room, deluxe. The scenery from the balcony was incredible. It had complete privacy as it had treetops and a gorgeous river view beyond the pool views which were right below. They arranged for netflix connectivity on the smart tv as soon as we requested. The rooms are new and well maintained. The resort is well run. From time we checked in things went smoothly and every request from the room was taken seriously and responded to at once. Check out was delayed by some unwarranted time. Took almost 20 min from the time we came out from our room though we checked out at the same time we had informed them prevous day. So not sure why so much delay even if they wanted to check the rooms. Most hotels take negligible time even if they wait for the room check as its merely a formality and all the bills ought to be ready. With the result our cab was made to wait for 20 min as it had came on time for airport drop! The pool service was lacking. The pool itself is strangely designed in depth . Its sloping sharply from 0.5m to 1.6m in a very narrow distance so felt odd . Also there were no pools handles to hold on to walking in and out of it. So getting in and out was very challenging. Especially so for those with accessibility issues and for senior citizens. Not to mention dangerous as well as the risk of slipping is high. Also the pool deck area has no accessibility slope so had steps or was one really high height to access . Other than that the pool was lovely and very relaxing as it was exquisetely set admist a lotus water garden of pink and white giant lotuses. The whole resort garden was beautifully maintained. Pool service itself was poor. Nobody to get the towels or clear the dirty ones off the loungers. Nor was there any proper service. Every time I would have to go over all the way up to the pool bar and cafe and ask for a menu or for somebody to come and take an order. At times I had to stand for a really long time at the pool deck and look for somebody to come attend or catch an attendants attention. The showers were in a really odd far off place and in a closed off room so had to walk all the way there which entailed a lot of steps again. It would have been easy if there were an open shower by the pool area. The resort itself is very serene and calm and right by the river. The location is sublime and you can enjoy the beatitude and calm that envelops the place naturally. I really was looking forward to enjoying the balcony. But it was ruined by nightfall as it has a big light that comes on automatically. So we cannot enjoy it the way we like. Ideally I like to sit at dusk and enjoy the birds and the fading light.
