The Hyatt Ziva in Cancun is one of those hotels I will go to endless times. First, there are 2 buildings inside the hotel. I went to the hotel front desk to upgrade to the dolphin room for 1 night (additional US$100). The floor-to-ceiling glass door opens to the dolphin area. Taking pictures is $100 for children who can take pictures independently, and $200 for two people who need to be accompanied by adults to enter the pool for 30 minutes. It is worth the experience. I have stayed in many Selina hostels but this is not one to rave about. The hotel is very basic and dated. It had what it needed but nothing above and beyond. Pool was dirty with a layer of sun cream on the surface & plant debris. Duvet in bedroom had no cover and the bed had been made with the sheet over the duvet so we had to pull it apart to put the sheet under the cover for hygiene reasons. On the plus side there is a lovely view of the lake, lots of cool iguanas around the pool & it’s walking distance to the main ***** without being too noisy.

Nomads is one of my favourite hostels ever. Such a beautiful setting, free yoga on the pier, the most amazing free breakfast and such friendly and helpful staff (Especially the lovely Kaylee & Laura). I met some great travellers that became friends. Its got the perfect balance between parties and work. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to all my friends.

I enjoyed this hostel a lot! It had a nice vibe and the people were very accommodating! It was also colorful and I liked the people and the common areas. The hostel was chill but fun at the same time!

Our flight was cancelled.. CUN＞JFK.. 24hrs later. This hotel was so accommodating. Although there was a lot of confusion and as chaotic as it was, we still received kind & courteous service. Our party of 4 was given 2 adjoining rooms. Given the situation… We felt safe & comfortable. We highly recommend the outdoor Taco spot around the corner… can’t miss it - Al Pastor tacos right in front - get the Arrachera (steak) Tacos with cheese - super delicious!! The next day, staff.. especially Mateo - was incredibly helpful & informative! He made sure we were well taken cared of!! Mateo was muy excellenté! Muchas gracias con todo!

I had a fairly okay experience here but compared to the other hotels I've stayed in cancun this takes the bottom. Check in at the hotel desk are long, hotel room is tiny and you can hear sounds from the other room next to you and there was also construction going on so noise was an issue and hotel rooms bath room doesn't have an air ventilation systems so all your business stays in the restroom. Also considering this has a party beach outside, this hotel is not for people that enjoy the quiet side of life. It's difficult to sleep at night when there's a party outside past midnight. The only upside is if you pay for the all inclusive package your meals are covered that's the awesome part they have got a good buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's the only thing that made me and my family happy for staying at this hotel.
