Well I just needed 1 night so found this place for location and price and the pictures didn't look too bad. Hard to find because the entrance is in an alley. We go to check in and there were people waiting..1 was complaining about no hot water or pressure. Checked in and went to our room..walked through the abandoned mall they made into a hotel. Our room had a weird smell, the bed was uncomfortable and the gaps in the door and weak lock made me feel uneasy so my husband put a chair in front of it. The bathroom was a dressing room covered in mirrors kind of creepy. I would not stay here again.

Three hotel names, one property. Scam Alert Horrible hotel AVOID. Rooms are ok but the property looks like hell and is not maintained, is dirty and in acute disrepair. Three Names- to scam everyone this property has 3 names, Spazio Boutique Hotel, Essenzia de Cancun hotel and MayaFair Design Hotel.

Just about getting three stars. Just. Another review suggests that it’s a repurposed mall and that each bedroom a former store…we were trying to put our finger on what wasn’t right in this place and this is a great description. Each bedroom has a theme around fashion, our first room, the wonderfully titled David Beckham was adorned with huge photos of said David and had a very damp smell, I hope unlike the real David. We had to swap. Three times. Until we found Karl Lagerfeld. If you ever wanted to know what it would be like to sleep in a Lagerfeld fetishist zone, this is the place to sleep. If you’re on a spring break week of fun, I imagine entertaining your new found lady friends alongside beckham or Lagerfeld would be a wonderful treat. For a family on a one night recconesance of cancun (it’s pretty awful, avoid) it didn’t hit the spot.

Hotel cochino huele feo, con chinches en la cama o no cambian sábanas, huele feo, no sale agua caliente, mucho ruido. Todo obscuro, tiene otro nombre en la puerta, hay televisiones que no funcionan y no hay internet en todas las habitaciones
