Hampton Inn Canton

I have stayed at this property multiple times in the 2023 year and I'm starting to see a fade in customer service. The rooms seem to be okay but not being able to get towels on request, not following up on service issues, and unable to fix a tv unless you change rooms is an issue for me.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean! The breakfast need to be improved, the quality was there but the service was so slow that everything was missing (eggs, yogourt, banana, bread…). We had to wait for everything and there were not a lot of clients. The hotel itself was great and the food (when available) was also very good quality.

Staff was very friendly. Overall stay was good and as expected for a Hampton Inn.

I have now stayed at this hotel multiple times this year. It is a great experience every time I go. They have a friendly staff and the everything is always clean.

Improper handling of paperwork by check in staff,mistook me for another customer and charged me,when I gave her my ID,then disputed my request for correction

The TV was not working, but we were placed in another room. Therefore, the bath tub wasn't cleaned around the edges.

The staff and hotel itself are fantastic. The room is comfortable and clean. The area is quiet. The breakfast and ladies that prepare and serve are wonderful. The area around the hotel is dated and adjacent hotels are of lower rating and quality. Overall I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay at Hampton Inn Canton, MS.

Very nice room. Plenty of space. The shower needs some work. It was impossible to get enough hot water through the shower so it was always lukewarm. Thus the four stars rather than five.

Checked in a touch after 11 pm was able to go straight to our room. We reserved a room with two queen beds and a hide a bed . Upon arrival, we pulled out the hide a bed and there were toenail clippings and it was stained up. We did contact the front desk. They told us to come back down and they would switch our rooms and it took about an hour to get a new room so by the time we got to our new room, it was 1 o’clock in the morning. The new room was a single king size bed with a hide a bed. As all the other double queens with hide a beds were booked. The clerk working that night was extremely helpful, but he was having a hard time with the computer systems. The next day we wanted to talk to the manager, but she was not going to be coming in until 9 AM. I did inquire about the price difference in rooms, but was never given an answer. We have yet to hear anything from them.
