quite room and comfortable for the stay

A great location in the town centre close to walk into town and the amenities. The room was stone cold when we arrived and we turned the radiator on and waited 4 to 5 hours for some warmth. The room itself has seen better days and looks a bit battered and worn, THERE IS NO WIFI in the rooms and when I enquired at reception we were told to goto the main bar to get the only wifi signal. The bed linen had some unidentifiable stains. We endured the experience for the one night. The car park was full of commercial vans and I guess they cater for the commercial workers.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cold upon arrival and took awhile to warm up. The bed was comfortable although some softer, fatter pillows would have been nice. The facilities were functional but a little dated. We did enjoy a large, tasty breakfast before leaving. Be aware that breakfast is extra.

Stayed 1 night on New Years Day, everything was fine, very quiet, didn’t use bar/restaurant as they were closing early

Really friendly staff. Being in the winter the weather was chilly and the lady at the reception made sure we had a warm room and even came up to set the heating really warm.
The pub and restaurant looked nice though we did not eat out this time.

It was just a short (one night) stay but my friend an I totally like everything that the hotel had to offer. The room was very clean including the en-suite. Will surely recommend it.

Decor/facilities in room are a little tired. There were silver fish in the bathroom on the floor. It smelt damp in the bathroom. It was only £60 so I’m not sure you’d get much more for the money. Beds were comfortable and linen was clean and fresh.
Chap who checked us in was nice enough.

Walls are paper thin..
The food and service was good, staff all nice. Room spacious and clean. I can hear what’s happening either side of my room. and people just talking.
