The Beach Club on Madison Avenue

We loved the location of the Beach Club and the friendliness of the staff. You are in walking distance of everything, from the beach to shops and restaurants. It is a great residential setting, perfect for long walks.

We were so pleased with the congenial and helpful staff! We loved our bathroom: it had a large vanity and large shower. We loved that the owners provided kitchen dishes, cups, glasses, and utensils. We had a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster! The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable!

No parking, air conditioner smelled musty, broken screens, outdoor lights on all night, bugs in beds, floors nasty/slippy

Nothing over the top to report. They should update there pictures because the place looked a lot nicer in person.

While the room was generally clean, more attention needed to be focused on the shower. Found someone else's hair in the shower and soap on the shower wall. It is clear updating is occurring with the recent ownership change. Carpet needed to be replaced in Room 9. God forbid you have an issue if you arrive late. You have to check in at a different hotel, receive a key card, then present the key card to the front desk in the morning for a "real key". Unfortunately, all three key cards didn't work. After driving back & forth to the other hotel, they sent maintenance on his way home. He was able to open the door with his master key, but would not open the Front Office to get a key that worked. So once in the room, we couldn't leave until staff arrived at 9am the next day (unless we wanted to leave the door open and our belongings available for someone to steal) -- unacceptable! The staff at the front desk the next morning DID NOT CARE. Did not even offer an apology. So hopefully new management can fix these issues going forward.

Super clean & newly renovated! Only complaint is that I heard the people above me all night but not the hotels fault! would totally come back

My husband and I stayed for 5 days. I have 2 complaints. 1) the towel holder inside the shower had some mildew on it. It was really gross. It looked like it hadn't been clean in sometime. 2) the water presser ******. I know most places the pressure is bad but, it could of been a little better. Other then that it was great. We were a little bit away from all the crowds which made it even better. There was a table and chairs outside the door. We sat and played cards. It was a nice place over all and we would stay there again!

Our stay for two days was uneventful. We liked the kitchenette style room, restroom has just a shower with no air conditioning but plenty of room. Beds comfortable. No breakfast. Regretted that could not get a good deal because of the long weekend. Pricey.
