due to negative reviews we were not sure if we should book that Guesthouse, but when we arrived we found out that there was an owner change and the guesthouse is now called theGreen. The new owner was super caring and spoke also German and a perfect English. The rooms were clean and we even went for a morning hike with Niel. Amazing guy. Thanks for everything, we come back next year!!

Ankerview was recommended by South African friends and have to say their choice was brilliant. We had stayed in Green Point before and wanted to stay again. The location was great, the rooms - all ensuite were of a good size and always kept really clean. The garden was tiered on 3 levels, so gave "me time" moments, and a swimming pool, which the grandchildren absolutely loved! Neil was a very helpful and friendly host and the best bit of advice was to use Uber taxis as it saved the hassle of finding your destination and coping with Capetown traffic and very reasonable. Our "homehelp" and breakfast cook, Doris, was really helpful and coped with the many variations of breakfast requests and did it with good humour and never complained.She was great. Our ages ranged from 9 to 76 and we all had a great time

A warm welcome from Neil to this very comfortable guest house. Very clean, well laid out and easy to access. Honesty box for excellent wine selection. Well cooked breakfast beautifully served. We met a very diverse group of guests round the dining table - a real pleasure to stay here.

This place has been a nightmare. Firstly the staff stole $400 from us and we’re nowhere to be seen the next morning when we were checking out. When we called the owner we were told there was nothing they could do about this

On arrival, was greeted by friendly Host, shown around and made to feel comfy, Room was clean and tidy and adequate for two people. The breakfasts were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend as it is very central and peaceful. Great Value for money. We will be back

The location is perfect, the rooms are great, (a little dear though) indoor parking, great view but the downside was breakfast. 1st day all was cold, I told them I like hot breakfast, coffee was at first weak then lacking quantity.

We had the pleasure to stay five nights in this cute guest house, which just came into hands of new owners Mely and Neil. The place is conveniently located in calm and safe neighborhood, no fear to park our car on the street. We could enjoy breakfast on a terrace with a view to the ocean, as well as barbecue in the backyards under the houndred-year-old palm tree. Hospitality of Mely and Neil is endless. I am sure the guest house will only flourish. Looking forward next time to come!
