We loved our time at the guesthouse. The room was tastefully decorated with heated towel rail, fan, hairdryer, minibar and the comfiest bed. The kitchen is spacious, with complimentary tea & coffee and gas stove for self-catering. The relaxation area outside is such a blessing with down lights at night along the pool you have an entire patio set, so tranquil. There are also sun loungers for the day. It was awesome. We relaxed here after a long day traveling sipping wine and enjoying some snacks perfect. The breakfast was delish, fresh muesli, yoghurt or fresh fruit cup, with several options thereafter. If you find friendlier and more efficient staff elsewhere, please let me know. Sweet Orange is within walking distance to shops and the beach is 900m, away. I would recomment this lovely gem and hope to revisit. Excellent value for money.

I loved my stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was just beautiful and was so comfortable. The location was so convenient, and the amenities provided smelt divine! I will be recommending them to everyone.

Zac was a wonderful host and made the stay for us. very very comfortable so lovely and close to brilliant restaurants, all within walking distance. felt very safe

I had an amazing time…. The place is beautiful and it’s exactly what I wanted…. The breakfast is amazing and the host makes you feel at home…

I would 100 % recommend the Sweet Orange to anyone visiting Cape Town. It is quite cozy, quaint and comfortable. Definitely a wonderful change of pace compared to staying at a hotel. We loved staying there. Additionally the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I ever get the chance to return I will definitely book Sweet Orange for my stay.

the sweet orange hotel is an excellent place to stay on a trip to Cape town. excellent service, cleanliness, food and fair price. When I go back for a walk with my husband, we will definitely stay there. Everyone in the service team wants to give you the best experience, and as much as possible, meet any special needs, be it food, coffee hours or hotel check-in and check-out.

This is a quaint guest house. We loved it's quirkness, and it's homely feel. With kitchen facilities should you require them, although we found the restaurants to be very reasonably priced, for excellent food. It's a short walk to the Esplanade, beach, the local supermarket, restaurants and so much more. Thank you to Zack, Loki, and Angeline for all your help and making our stay special.

Zack, Loki and Angeline were the perfect hosts. Beautiful accommodation near to the beaches and shops. Lovely garden and pool and really safe area. They arranged pock up from the airport and met us late at the accommodation to get us safely to our room.

a very good Location to stay here for a few days in the area of Cape Town. The rooms are very clean and the beds give you an high sleep quality, with a delicious breakfast, extrem friendly service and its directly in front of the Ocean (way to walk 3 minutes) I traveled with expensive luggage and I felt all the time safe
