The room and the place were overall very beautiful. The house is perfectly situated and you can walk by foot to nearby restaurants, shops and the waterfront. The breakfast is also a highlight. Sitting on the terrace with views of Signal Hill and enjoying the good food.

The location is great. Next to the beach, the bus stop for the hop on/hop off bus and the local Mojo Market with good food and live music. Also a good starting point for excursions (Chapman’s Peak, Kaap de Goede Hoop). Neighbourhood safe but quite busy. We stayed in a big and comfortable room. Breakfast was very good too. Private parking. Gary and Kim are very friendly and hospitable with always time for a friendly chat.

Stayed in April 2024 for 5 nights. Great location, feel safe and it's quiet. Fantastic staff who can't do enough for you, organised airport taxi pick up for us. Clean, spacious bedrooms, very comfy beds. Excellent choice at breakfast, very filling and a great coffee machine. We made use of the hop on hop off bus to visit the Cape Town attractions and go to Cape Point, the bus stop is just minutes away. Highly recommended accommodation, thank you.

Great place to stay - friendly welcome with all required amenities. Location is close to promenade ( but not too close) and the breakfasts are great. The fact that parking available was good ( and secure)

Very nice location on a good spot. Beach, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Friendly people en a excelent breakfast. A big chamber and good facilities. We did't use the pool but it looked great. We traveling with a car you can use the private parking complete with automatic gate ande servailance

Beautiful place, homely, peaceful, has all important amenities. Also very important for us were the hosts - very welcoming and friendly. We loved that we could walk to some of the important places like the beach, shops and restaurants. Loadshedding did not affect us. Definitely coming back and recommends this guest house highly.

This guesthouse has the most fantastic a**osphere! It’s a home away from home with staff that are super welcoming, beds so comfortable that you won’t want to get out, and breakfast that will blow your mind! The only thing I would improve about this place is that I would stay longer!

Sundown Manor is a small guesthouse on a quiet street. Large room and bathroom, great common area with a breakfast patio, a very welcoming place. Conveniently located at the heart of the Sea Point, this place is close to everything - just a few blocks away from the beaches and promenade, Mojo Market and all Sea Point stores and restaurants, HOHO bus stop, and a short Uber ride to the V&A Waterfront.

Our 3-day stay in Cape Town was an unforgettable joyful experience, all thanks to the Sundown Manor Guesthouse and the incredible host, Kim. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The location, just a stone's throw from the city and with a breathtaking view of Lions Head, was a true delight. But it wasn't just the surroundings that won us over. The warm and friendly welcome from Kim and her lovely staff made us feel like we were home away from home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. The breakfasts were lovely, and the charming dining area added to the overall experience. As we continued our journey through South Africa, we stayed at other accommodations, but none could match the warmth and hospitality we experienced at Sundown Manor Guesthouse. Kim's personal touch made all the difference, creating memories that will stay with us forever.
