Nice view in a great location directly at the beach Very helpful Service and cleanliness accommodation Unfortunately there are no sunbrellas and no mattres for the sunbeds The air condition doesn’t work

The title says it all really. Staff were very helpful and location is top notch but the place is in need of some TLC but I understand the owner has 'a plan' for that. As it is on the main road through Camps Bay, it can be noisy in the evenings.

This was our second time at The Place, which has an outstanding situation on Camps Bay, friendly staff and allocated (if tight) parking. For two couples the Penthouse was ideal, with lots of space and great views, though in the absence of a functioning lift - perhaps because of load shedding, but no explanation was forthcoming) - a rather testing stair climb for retirees. Stylish furnishings of yesteryear, and some gloomy corners, but overall a hugely enjoyable place to stay.

We had the best view of the beach and so much to choose from with food options. The apartment we stayed is was absolutely gorgeous and clean. We never had an issue and we had asked to check out an hour later and the staff were so understanding we absolutely loved our stay ☺️

The property is well placed next to the beach. It's clean. It's suitable for people who like to cook since it's self catering. Also there restaurants nearby if do not like cooking. I will definitely book the place again if I visit Cape Town again.

We had a lovely long weekend as a family in Camps Bay, the accommodation was really great at Place on the Bay, the location is perfect, easy access to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely recommend the accommodation and return for sure!

We were very impressed by Place on the Bay, excellent value for money. Perfect location for exploring Camps Bay. Our room had a great sea view. The winter sunsets were magnificent.We would book again.

Property refuses to refund me for a cancelation I had to make due to emergency circumstances even thought upon booking, it clearly said FREE CANCELATION. Reservations officer does not attend to emails.

The view is amazing room cleaned every day but when we arrived there on first day although the room was clean there was poop in the toilet and skid marks so I had to clean the toilet as my daughter wanted to be sick. Parking is a bit if an issue. Water came out brown on our last 2 days. But the view made up for everything.
