Shoutout to the housekeeping staff - they are all so friendly, patient, provide the best customer service and have all smiles (they are so much friendlier than the guys at the front desk)! This hotel has great breakfast options for being a best western. Everyday the menu is updated- super cool!

Great place with great views. I travel to San Diego weekly abd this has become my favorite hotel so far. I go for walks at night without much concern. Parking is also reasonable considering what some places charge

Walk to the coast/beach, very central location, many dining options, friendly and welcoming staff, nice rooms and amenities. Very satisfied with our stay. Will definitely stay here if we come to Capitola / Santa Cruz again.

The only complaint that I could possibly find is that the scrambled eggs and bacon were just lukewarm at the breakfast.

We loved our stay here! The staff are wonderful and so kind and helpful. They’re clearly working hard to update the property and keep it in good condition. The room was perfect for us and we will definitely be back.

This was my second stay at this propert. My whole family was in Santa Cruz for a Memorial Service this weekend. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating... Even giving us adjoining rooms ( and we had not thought to request this at booking). I especially appreciate the hard flooring and all washable bedding. The rooms are quite spacious with updated, useful furnishings.

I needed a room that had some room to move around and do some work while I was there. There was a a great little coffee maker, mini fridge, and good lighting. I have stayed here before and would choose this hotel again.

We liked the stay at this property. However, when we checked in there was no parking available by the lobby so we had to park around the building and walk over to check in. They should have assigned parking for check in near the lobby.
