Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford

We got married in march in the four seasons Carlingford we couldn't fault anything everything was amazing everyone was saying how amazing the food was and I can agree we had a wonderful day and stay

We had our wedding in April 20204 and everything was amazing. We are so glad we booked with the Four Seasons Carlingford. Our guests complemented the food, rooms and breakfast the next morning. They also commented on how friendly all the staff were. We had stayed a year previous and received the same warm welcome we did then as we did on our wedding day. Linda and her team were amazing at creating a beautiful wedding for us. Just wish we could do the day all over again. The function room is located on the first floor, something we hadn’t seen in other venues. We had a large balcony area for our guests to enjoy the views of the Cooley mountains, Carlingford village and the water. We loved having that area private for just the function room. We had some children at our wedding and they were catered for, nothing was a problem. Special mention to Dermot the General Manager who is such a gentleman, every time we were in his presence it was good fun. The bar staff, waiting staff and reception were also brilliant. Our wedding meal was so tasty and looked amazing. The bedrooms are stunning, fresh and modern whilst also being cosy. We can’t wait to stay again.

My sister and I stayed in the Four Seasons while the young hens stayed in a nearly property. Perfect location and lovely friendly clean hotel.

My husband and I needed a break and chose Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford. From the moment we spoke with Dermot, we knew beyond doubt we made the best choice for us. The weather remained wet with customary April showers throughout our stay, but all of the sunshine was visible and unlimited inside the hotel, through Dermot’s warm welcome, attention, and lively humour. Every member of staff were happy and smiling and willing to serve us with ease and respect for our needs. We also highly recommend the Four Seasons for comfortable cosy surroundings, incredible scenery and walking distance, if not raining, to the beautuful town of Carlingford. Very stylish hotel, great location, friendly staff. Food and drink were excellent. Decor was top rate. Hard to find fault, will return for sure.

Great service all staff were polite and professional,Especially Cheryl at breakfast .Bed was comfortable and good facilities of tea coffee and biscuits. As I have stated room needs wall painted we’re there has been something done on wall and bathroom needs shower replaced as covered in limescale and sink stopper needs cleaned properly all brown around it.

Great weekend break very relaxing. Lovely views and walks along the lough. Also nice gentle walk into the village.

The hotel is fabulous and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious at the wedding. We enjoyed the use of the sauna and steam room the following day before checking out. The only negative would be that there was no mini fridge in the room and the room got quite hot during the night.
