Ventura Santa Teresa

We loved our time there. The people who work there are so helpful and friendly. We thought Kevin and David who both worked at the front desk exceptional. They went beyond their jobs and helped us with the area. The best restaurants were recommended by Kevin. Lydia also was fantastic with cleaning our apar**ent and getting things we needed. We loved our visit.

This hotel generally gets good reviews but we were surprised and underwhelmed. Our biggest concern was the size - the rooms are very small, almost uncomfortable. It felt like we were staying in a college dorm room. It was very tight for two people, and certainly not romantic or comfortable for a couple’s stay. We did not enjoy sleeping in a bunk bed. With that said, the room was new, clean and had everything we needed. There’s also a restaurant on-site and a tiny pool. It’s basically like a hostel. Heads-up that’s its on the southern end of Santa Teresa and we felt a bit isolated. I might recommend looking for a place about a mile/km north, more towards the center. But there is a grocery store right across the street, and also laundry and a few coffee shops. It’s nice that this hotel is new, but again the rooms are very small and uncomfortable. I imagine it’s hard to find luxurious places in this small beach town without paying a fortune. If you’re looking for something nice, I would probably avoid Santa Teresa altogether.

This location is a five minute walk to the beach. It was very quiet despite being on the main road. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. David and Roy really made our stay special - helped us with directions, greeted us by name and offered many recommendations. Property felt very safe - they had a full time security guard (this may have just been because it was a holiday though). Pool and common area was clean and enjoyable. Other guests were respectful and interesting to chat with. Other guests were mostly families and couples. We will stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great modern property right in the heart of Playa Carmen. Easy walk to the beach. The main street is a bit crazy, but the property is quiet and new. Staff is excellent.

Ventura Santa Teresa is an amazing accommodation. This place is new and clean and safe with 24 hour security. The staff went above and beyond to help me navigate to beautiful beaches, tasty restaurants and answered many other questions. They helped me organize a quad rental with surf racks and it was delivered to me at the hotel and also picked up. You might want a quad if you don’t have a car to explore nearby Mal País and to surf down at La Lora beach. Easy peasy! There is a beautiful small pool to take a dip in the back and many places to just hang out. The location is fantastic: close to many top notch restaurants, a mega supermarket, the beach, and really anything else you might need. The best part of Ventura Santa Teresa for was the room! Everything is new and clean. I was unexpectedly upgraded to the studio terrace room. Kitchen had everything you could need (coffee maker, stovetop, toaster oven, fridge cups, plates, mugs, bowls, etc) The sheets and bed were so comfy and luxurious. AC worked great. I loved the many hooks to hang anything that was wet from the beach or rain. Laundry service was offered in brand new washers and dryers. Wifi was strong and there was a wifi google nest in the room you scan to connect. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. I got to meet the owners and I let them know how wonderful their newly renovated hotel is. They spared no detail! I hope to go back and stay longer! Thank you Ventura Santa Teresa.

Amazing modern Hotel with the best location in town. Easily walk to the beach, restaurants, or shops. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the upgrades throughout the property are wonderful. Can’t wait to come back to Ventura , Santa Teresa!!

I stayed in Ventura Santa Teresa during my stay. It's centrally located and very close to restaurants, the beach, and bars. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and super helpful from the start. Such a beautiful hotel, quiet (even though on a busy street), newly renovated, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Dieses Hotel (und das Restaurant im Hotel )war der absolute Höhepunkt unserer Costa Rica Reise! Das Personal war unglaublich nett und hat uns schon im Vorfeld unterstützt, da unsere Tochter uns überraschend besucht hat. Es wurde der Shuttle aus San José organisiert und das Zimmer noch extra getauscht damit wir genügend Platz hatten. Das Restaurant Aroma war nicht nur wegen seiner aussergewöhnlichen Speisen sehr gut sondern auch wegen dem unglaublich netten Kellner (Deiver)! Der nahegelegene Strand ist unglaublich schön und die Sonnenuntergänge wohl die schönsten der Welt.

Excelente. Tudo novinho. Camas, roupas de cama, toalhas, travesseiros, colchão ótimos. Quarto super confortável. Piscina super boa e aquecida. Atendimento muito bom. Perto do surf e da padaria, na frente do supermercado. Fica na rua principal, se procuras por um lugar silencioso não é a melhor opção. Super recomendo!!!
