Hotel Quadrifolio

Wir waren im September in diesem wunderbaren Hotel. Der Service ist wirklich sehr gut und persönlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder in dieses Hotel zurück kommen.

What a beautiful hotel. Walking through the big colonial door into an oasis of calm and history. Delightful and friendly staff - special mention to Fernando for the wonderful breakfast, the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! And my room was beautifully decorated, incredibly spacious, with a powerful raindrop shower. Location couldn’t have been any more central, just a 5 minute walk from Cafe del Mar for sunset and surrounded by the most wonderful bars and restaurants. A very safe location for a solo traveller. Would highly recommend.

Wow! What a wonderful, beautiful place to stay for a wonderful family get together…celebrating a marriage and a 50th wedding anniversary. Amazing accommodations and a**osphere. All of the staff are top notch. John and Louis went above and beyond making sure we were well taken care of.

We were beyond excited for our stay at the hotel. This was the first time in seven years we were away without our kids, and we had arrived in Cartagena from an incredible stay in Medellin. I poured over reviews and picked this hotel because of all the wonderful comments about it being quiet , romantic , and wonderful service from the incredible staff. We were only here for two days, but unfortunately, although the staff was very nice, we did not experience what others did. There was an incredibly loud family that basically took over the whole hotel with very loud toddlers/young children ( about 4 -6 kids total) that were allowed to scream and run, and pound on our doors all day and very early in the morning. In fact, one day,,they were pounding on our door at 5:30 AM. The children were also allowed to run all around during breakfast time screaming so loudly we couldn’t even hear each other. We never were able to use the small pool because they took over the whole area splashing and screaming in the pool and outside of it, which was also right outside our room. There was no where for us to go during our entire stay that was relaxing or romantic. Again, I have children, but this is not the right place to stay with loud, young children. They either should’ve rented out the entire hotel or been encouraged to stay elsewhere. Also, the guests didn’t even attempt to tell their children to quiet down or behave. There was a very nice family with one child there the morning we left and it wasn’t a big deal at all. They were appropriate with their level of noise and didn’t disturb us in any way. In fact, this family, even though they had a child, seemed quite annoyed with the other family and kids as well. Although the staff was very nice and apologetic and said that they were going to credit our stay given all of our issues, this has not happened as of yet. I’ve had some communication with the hotel, but it has been over three months and I haven’t received a credit yet. Through reading other reviews, I see some people were offered additional meals at the hotel, but this was never offered to us. Overall, we had a wonderful trip to Colombia and our stay at the SOFITEL after this was lovely, but our stay at Hotel Quadrifolio was not the 5 star experience we were hoping for.

Every aspect of our experience was exceptional. This very small hotel feels like a private home with your own personal staff. It is beautifully decorated throughout. The staff are there for your every need. John, Gabrielle, Rosa, etc. are delightful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool is private and lovely. Most importantly, the property is on a quiet street away for the loud party scene yet centrally located in the walled city. Lastly, the breakfast included in the rate is exceptional. More delicious food than you can consume.

Excellent service, comfortable, relaxing. Delicious food. Outstanding local breakfast. You would like to stay indoors, no need to go outside if your are looking for a quiet place and calming environment. Its amenities include beautiful rooms, different spaces for reading, resting and just being. Wonderful restored old house. Special mention to all the team: friendly, respectful, kind; make every interaction a special moment. Our deep thanks to everyone. Intimate boutique hotel, all staff make you feel welcome... like home!!

Any adjective we could use would not fully express our degree of satisfaction! Structure, facilities, cleanliness, location and especially the team!!! They spared no effort in serving us at a level of excellence, which is very difficult to find. A special mention to the host Fernando: helpful, kind, friendly, polite and with a friendliness that is difficult to measure. Thank you very much to the whole team!!!

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location in the walled city. Very quiet despite being so central. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, especially Luiz and Fernando, whose cocktails were delicious. Excellent breakfasts with great selection of fresh fruit & option to try local delicacies

One of the best hotel experiences ever! The hotel staff is extremely friendly. Everyone was kind, helpful and professional. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and had a lot of amenities. Breakfast served by John was delicious! Would definitely visit again!
