The themed Ljmonade hostel includes free WiFi, just 400 metres from the Cascais city centre. The recently-redecorated house features ample room and lots of natural light. we stayed in the the Ljmonade for five nights. Our room had AC, its own bathroom, was clean and had a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The Ljmonade has an excellent location. It's very easy to walk to the beach and to the historic area of Cascais, and to dozens of restaurants. It's located in a residential block and the area was quiet during our five night stay. Unfortunately one of the shared bathrooms was next to our room and we could easily hear other guests' bodily functions which was major bummer. We also found that some of the guests did not honor the rules and made a lot of noise in the common areas well after midnight. Since the reception desk closes in the evening there didn't seem to be anyone that enforced the house rules. If you are someone that stays up late than I doubt you would mind.

This hostel is absolutely fantastic. I am so used to staying in bunk beds that it was a lovely surprise to find myself in a room with 5 single beds! It is located on a quiet residential street, 3minutes walk from the main area of town. There is a large kitchen with lots of storage. Cereals, bread, tea/coffee and biscuits are free. A lovely gesture. Also free dinner on Friday night and free breakfast on Sunday morning. There provided lockers, all doors are key card scan and it feels safe and secure. The hostel has private rooms. It is quiet and feels more like a guest house. The hostel offers use of beach towels, parasols, yoga mats and a bike. They provide a shower towel too.

Really lovely hostel in a quiet residential area in Cascais. Very communal feel, shared kitchen and dining area. Small outdoor seating area. The staff are welcoming, the location is only a short walk from the town centre and nice and quiet. Only complaint is bathrooms looked a bit dated. The rooms were modern and clean and had ample storage.

Booked a stay for Apr 1 in February. We cancelled right away because the hostel is a tad overpriced considering alternatives and quality. We requested cancellation on February 26 and again on February 28 and again on March 6. No response whatsoever from owner. FB messaged on March 6. Finally owner confirms receipt of cancellation request. Owner further claims to have notified us of cancellation confirmation on March 7 (we have no record of this). Yet here we are on Apr 1 with no refund. $30.30 deposit for reservation booked 40 days in advance and cancelled next day. No refund! Buyer Beware!

What an amazing experience! If your looking for a place to have fun, relax and enjoy cascais this is the place to be ! The people and manager Monica makes you feel at home. Rooms are clean and kitchen has got everything. Sidenote: they create these amazingly fun nights where they give dance classes, dinners and game nights. All free for guests! This hostel is just a 10-minutes walk away from the train station and just 40 minutes away from the center of Lisbon. The common spaces are clean and the hostel offers extra services, such as yoga and surf classes! This is an amazing choice for solo travelers or families since it combines a friendly atmosphere and a quiet environment.

I spent 20 days in the 6 bedroom mixed dorm, the place as a whole has a co-living atmosphere, everyone feels like family. It's equipped with lockers and the beds are spaced out well. I was surprised that with the shared bathroom I rarely had to wait. Staff and Manager were admirable and became friends easily. Also a little outside of the centre which was quieter but only a 10 minute walk. Kitchen is fully equipped with free coffee and biscuits and tea. Free themed meal every week for guests and staff. Also they try and organize activities as much as possible. Overall a great stay. Cascais was great too!

It felt like visiting a friend. The staff was super welcoming, the hostel has a warm atmosphere. It feels like visiting a friend. The kitchen offers everything you could wish for, including a variety of teas as well as coffee and am espresso machine to use. Everything's clean and taken care of. You can even ask at the reception and they'll take care of your laundry for a small price. Only a 5 minute walk to the marina and downtown!

The hostel is nicely located with a walking distance to any spot in central Cascais and the sea side. Overall it is super tidy with quite spacious dorms. The common area and (well-equipped) kitchen were perfect for engaging with other guests so coming alone is no problem! Furthermore the amazing staff made me feel warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Extra points for all-day-long free coffee & tea :)
