excellent hotel. staff very friendly and helpful, both at reception and the pool bar. location is central for the old town and marina and the beach. hotel runs a shuttle to/from the beach. the room was clean and very comfortable, there was a vast selection of food for breakfast, the breakfast room was spotless and airy with pleasant and helpful staff.

This was the best place we have stayed on our honeymoon in Sicily. The sea view was spectacular from our room and a delight to wake up to each morning. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and spa and the bed was very comfortable. The best part though was the breakfast included. A superb selection of freshly made local specialities each morning plus all the other items international tourists might want (even special milks and gluten free options). Great job to the lovely ladies who prepare the breakfast. You should be so proud of the lovely experience you provide for guests.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Super pool with amazing poolside bar/ restaurant. 10 minute walk into the village with local shops and restaurants close by. On the main road but modern double glazing minimises any noise and the road isn’t that busy. I would recommend a sea view room. Very nice breakfast too.

We had a lovely 10 night stay at this delightful hotel .. we were allocated room 12 which was at the front with balcony and a gorgeous seaview .. The room was very comfortable, good aircon, fridge and a lovely shower with magnificent water pressure!! The pool area is very nice .. the pool isn’t heated at all so at the beginning of June it was freezing and only for the brave .. the beach further down the road was nice .. good facilities and we paid about €12 each for a sunbed for the day …. Breakfast was superb Lunch around the pool was excellent.. The walk into town was nice stopping on the way at various bars .. loved the old town .. some fab restaurants and nice gift shops .. all in all a lovey break in Sicily.. we will be sure to return

This is the NOISIEST HOTEL IN TOWN. BEWARE. STAYING and SLEEPING here is like being IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY due the constant roadway noise, which can be heard from the hotel rooms all day long. Get ready to listen to hundreds of cars speeding and passing by right next to the hotel as well as motorcycles, exhaust sounds of all shapes and forms, honking, buses, loud music from the beach nearby until 4 am. At one point, I even felt like I was staying near a racetrack! The problem is that Hotel Punta Nord Est, is located right next to the busiest road in town. The rooms on the front area face the main road, the side rooms face a super noisy pool area and the ones on the back face the breakfast area. This hotel has the worst lay out possible. It was a complete FIASCO. The concierge mislead me at the time I booked my room. I emphasized that we wanted a quiet room. In reality, they do not have any quiet room. The stuff was also careless about my lack of sleep for two nights. One of the staff members, Isabel told me to leave and stay elsewhere if I did not like it. Management did not want to refund my money either. The staff did not know that the noise travels even to the 4th floor. The hotel rooms do not have double panel windows, instead they have very old windows, so all the noise gets inside the room even with the windows closed. If you sleep on the 1st floor, it gives you a feeling of being in the middle of the road. I cut my stay short and left after the second night. Unfortunately the more quiet hotels were already booked, otherwise I would have left right away, as soon as I arrived. I went to this hotel to relax and this bad experience ruined my visit to Castellammare del Golfo. This hotel does not embrace the concept of tranquility and relaxation whatsoever.
