Locanda in Tuscany

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Locanda is perfectly located in the heart of Tuscany, close to many good wineries and little towns. Amazing food and service. I trully enjoyed my stay. Thank you!!

Thank you for a fantastic stay! We visited Locanda in Tuscany in August 2023, and what a wonderful stay we had. The room was beautiful, romantic, clean, and incredibly peaceful. The service from all the staff and employees at Locanda provided a 10/10 experience. The food and wine in the restaurant were also beyond complaint. We would be more than happy to come again - hopefully soon.

Our recent stay at Locanda in Tuscany was absolutely incredible! The staff went above and beyond to make our trip special. They were incredibly friendly and helped us plan our days with fantastic activities, making sure we got the most out of our time in Tuscany. The surrounding area was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning views of the rolling hills and picturesque vineyards was like living in a postcard. The tranquillity and beauty of the Tuscany countryside are hard to put into words – you have to experience it for yourself. We're grateful to the Locanda team for making our stay so memorable. The combination of their warm hospitality, delicious food, and the natural beauty of the area created an unforgettable experience. We normally stay in the towns in this region of tuscany and really enjoyed our stay we extended an extra night...stunning views and very peaceful. We had a suite and this was very comfortable with an open fire to relax and a wonderful bath in the bedroom. Breakfast very nice and dinner was excellent. We came in October ...and autumn/fall in tuscany is spectacular....would really recommend people coming during these months ...weather is still pleasant and i loved that we could use the outdoor pool ....although cold was a great experience Location of hotel is off the main road on a dirt track....no problems at all and circa 2km off the main road. If you love running and cycling then this is also a great destination as the dirt track is safe for a good 5km run. Really enjoyed the experience and of courde the wonderful tuscan views

We had a wonderful 2 nights here as part of our honeymoon road trip from the UK to Italy. It’s a beautiful, peaceful location with lovely buildings and tranquil pool area. The staff were lovely and welcoming and so helpful with recommendations and booking us a restaurant for the second night. We ate in their restaurant the first night and it was lovely, great food staff and a beautiful, peaceful setting. We did a cookery class with Chef Tina which was fab - highly recommend! We ate our wonderful pasta and tiramisu for lunch. All round a wonderful stay in this secluded and beautiful location! Thank you!

My fiancé and I had the most wonderful stay here! Everything was perfect from the second we checked in until the morning we left. We had an early flight and the kitchen packed us a breakfast box to take on the road. Our room was elegant and had gorgeous surrounding views of the vistas. The pool was great, the restaurant dinner was delicious and the staff was spectacular and amendable to everything. SO worth the trip!

If you’re trying to find the perfect accommodation in Tuscany - this is it. We had the most wonderful stay here. It’s peaceful, the staff are amazing, the food, the pool, the landscape, the buildings. It’s immaculately perfect! We booked directly with Locanda, 2 rooms for 3 nights as a surprise engagement gift to my sister and her fiancé. Francesca arranged for a bottle of local sparkling in their room and a hand written card which was such a lovely way to start the stay. The staff are all so knowledgeable & friendly. We are from Australia so our Italian is below average but everyone was so kind and patient, and of course more than happy to speak in English with us which we greatly appreciated. We had dinner at the hotel on the first and last night - the menu is small and local which is exactly what we wanted. The food was fresh and delicious. Each afternoon we relaxed by the pool with drinks, and the lovely gentleman working in the restaurant were so great bringing us poolside cocktails and wine. Our rooms were rustic yet modern and tastefully decorated, respecting the peaceful vibe of the entire hotel. The beds and pillows were dreamy and the aircon was a savior in the 39 degree heat. Breakfast each morning was such a delight, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, meats, cheeses, juices, and coffee. There is also a hot menu you can order from but we were happy with our array of treats so didn’t ever order. Francesca and Marika are available at any time via WhatsApp and booked us wine tours, and restaurants. We followed their recommendations for everything and they absolutely did not disappoint. We will absolutely be back, we are already looking at dates! We have returned to work in Sydney now, but mentally I’m at Locanda xx

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a trip to Italy and Locanda was one of our stops. It was truly a dream from the minute you step out of the car and are greeted by a gracias host in their quaint office for check-in. Our room was in the main building of the house and was a nice size but a bit sp**** in furniture. We could have used bigger nightstands and a little more furniture and an updated smart tv but the charming windows and view of the Tuscan hills make it worthwhile. The food is not complicated but very fresh and delicious. They have great wines and cocktails as well. Breakfast is simply divine with all types of baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee, and fresh juices. Locanda is situated in the middle of the countryside so having a car to get around is helpful. We had scheduled a private driver on our own to take us for a day trip to neighboring wineries and it was a perfect outing. We stayed three nights at Locanda and breaking up the days to see other sites in Tuscany is a must. We enjoyed a wine tasting they had offered one of the nights which was a lot of fun and we were lucky to be offered a tasting menu with local wines from the region on another night. On our last day, we enjoyed reading and sipping bubbles by their beautiful pool. Absolute paradise, so if you're looking for a picturesque landscape with warm and inviting hosts to make your stay unforgettable this is a place you will not want to miss!

The most magical place in Tuscany. Beautiful location with very cozy rooms. But the best part of this property is the people. Claudia and Luca are wonderful hosts and care deeply about all their guests. Highly recommend doing a cooking class while you are there!
