Beautiful hotel and extremely friendly staff . Within a natural forest , we stayed here longer than we had planed as it is so relaxing . The dinning room is gorgeous. Our room had its private balcony within the trees canopies . All the ladies at the front desk are very sweet and helpful. Strongly recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights, 2 nights in room 12 and 2 in Bosque. Although Bosque is the larger room (suite) with a bit more privacy, we really liked room 12 which is at the end of the row of rooms on a corner. It’s a bit easier to keep warm and the bathroom has a door in the shower stall. A coffee maker in the room (which was in Bosque) would have been a nice addition. Both rooms are very clean and quit with a very comfortable bed. Furnishing in wood gives it a clean country feel. The rooms have a fantastic view over the forest, water and onto Castro. The location of OCIO is about 25 minutes outside Castro. The last part of the drive, maybe 10 minutes, is on a dirt road, doable with a regular car but a SUV makes it a bit easier. The location makes it very quiet but there are no shops or restaurants in the direct vicinity. The hotel restaurant is very good. It has a nice selection of seafood dishes that are well prepared. The pulpo is highly recommended. Breakfast is a buffet, with a good selection of bread, cheese, cereal, and egged made to order. Service is very personal and efficient, and several members of the staff speak English. We had a really good stay and would visit again if we’re on Chiloe island.

As simple as this , the price is incredibly expensive for what it is , its the most expensive hotel of the region and you are getting a poor experience … Thanks god the view is amazing but its not worth 260.000$ for the night without breakfast . Think twice before booking in this place

What a special place. Beautiful grounds, wonderful restaurant, fantastic rooms, friendly staff. Loved all the sheep, chicken, ducks that are all around and walking through the meadows to the beach. We went kayaking with the owner, and learned he built most of Ocio himself! We heartily recommend a visit here.

This is an absolutely phantastic place which by far exceeded our expectations. It has a great view over the Casto bay and onto the small town of Castro at a distance. We loved the beautiful trails within the very large nature area which belongs to the hotel and which provides access to the beach. The beach itself allows for long hikes. Lots of wild birds to observe, and the hotel has sheep, chicken roaming on the grazing area. The restaurant is excellent.

Pas de chauffage dans le hall et le restaurant de l’hôtel Si vous payez 3 nuits et que vous voulez raccourcir d’une nuit il ne vous rembourse pas la nuitée La cuisine est très moyenne et pas du tout gastronomique Les propriétaires ne sont pas commerçants et ne s’intéressent pas aux clients quand le chauffage est en panne et que nous dînons en doudoune

Ocio hace honor a su nombre. Un lugar en un entorno idílico. La nobleza de la madera en su arquitectura muy bien pensada, junto a una buena calidad en materiales y confort de sus habitaciones hacen del lugar algo muy unico. Recomiendo la cabaña premium “del bosque”, un hermoso nido entre los arboles y una preciosa vista. Totalmente recomendable

En este hotel roban. Cuidado. La recepcionista no hace nada no cumple y cuando se solicita hablar con la gerencia, no lo permite. Compromete mandar email y tampoco lo hacen. Personal extremadamente poco atento. EVITAR A TODA COSTA si no quieren un mal rato en vacaciones.
