Transportation : Personal transportation
Hotel : You can book online or when you get there . Trip.com doesn’t show all the rooms it’s better to go there straight ❤️
Food : they have restaurants . Their food is teeeew good . It’s cheap ❤️
Environment : They are welcoming. . We had a good time . Since it’s winter we thought it’s gonna be too cold since it’s closer to the mountains. But to our surprise it’s warmer .
Activities : They have a brochure that has all the activities that will take place on that day . It has prices and locations of Activities .
Rooms : They are neat and our room has nice views

Cayley Lodge is a beautiful resort with plenty to keep the family busy. We had units that overlooked the dam. The units were two bedroom 6 sleeper units and have a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen so you can chat whilst cooking. The kitchen is well equipped with a 4 plate gas stove and electric oven, a microwave oven, fridge, kettle and toaster. There is also a fireplace in the lounge section and a braai in the dining room section. The Resort staff are super efficient and friendly and will assist you with whatever you require. They have specific staff to keep you and your children entertained all day. We went down to the dam and the children had fun on the electric bumper boats. Our meal at the restaurant was delicious and the waitron staff were very attentive. We, as a family, had a wonderful time within the Resort and also outside the Resort, there is lots to do in that area.

Our stay over 3 days was excellent, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Special mention goes to Prudence by the pool, she was amazing and kept us entertained. My partner enjoyed the cruise more and thoroughly enjoyed the quad biking experience.

Great great place! There are many activities in and around the lodge. I spent most of my time at The View infinity pool, Snqobi the host was great, welcoming and friendly. Great place to meet people because everyone is so friendly! They should serve more snacks and maybe coffee in winter. It was worth every cent.

Accommodation excellent. Do not try the restaurant. Truly needs attention. Very long waiting times for mediocre food. Relatively small portions. Place is well maintained, nice family activities, beautiful views, but not the best view in the area when compared to others like champagne castle.

Cayley lodge is absolutely beautiful. The chalet was clean and very comfortable. Wifi was good. Theres a generator during certain hours of loadshedding. ( we however couldn't find any candle holders when needing the candles) There is a variety of activities which was great. However...the road there is horrendous. Lots of potholes and frankly, not even a road. I will not advise if your vehicle is not an SUV or 4×4 . Sadly ...we will never return unless the road is fixed. It is a better option to stay in the Drakensberg Sun area.

Bad, expensive food, extremely bad roads, broken amenities, dirty swimming pools. Not a place I’d ever holiday again, especially when there are many, many places near there to stay for the same price or less. The staff seem to try and this place would be great if it was R350 a night, but it’s not. Good view.

The road to the resort was terrible. The service was not up to standard. The room had no wifi at all. A sense of racism was noticed on several occasions. On the positive side the rooms were clean and comfortable. Don't go if you don't have a suitable vehicle for the gravel road.

The resort is nice .However , on arrival my room wasn’t cleaned (this was at 17:00) . The receptionist was kind and accommodated us in another room for the night . The next day the same thing happened. We went out in the morning and when we got back at 14:30 my room wasn’t clean.
