Apartments Didan

We had an amazing 11 days. We booked this based on previous reviews and given we are not keen on busy hotels. Our apartment was clean and modern with great amenities. We had a toastie and coffee machine, hob and microwave. There was a safe in the bedroom. Towels were provided for showering and seperate towels for the pool area. Natasa and Maro were lovely hosts, super friendly and always on hand for any advice. Maro also took my other half to the local supermarket to stock up on essentials. They supplied us with a map and there was a folder with lots of info in the apartment. We had a ground floor apartment and loved having a cuppa first thing outside our bedroom overlooking the sea. Secluded beaches were only a 5 mins walk or busier beach with water sports also on 5 mins away. Pool was small but plenty big enough to cool off and overlooked the sea, but there is no shallow end and is 5ft deep. Amazing views. As with previous reviews the slope and steps back up were quite harsh but we felt we needed the exercise after all the food we had eaten and the apartment and views more than made up for this. Some guests took a bus or taxi back but we always walked it. Def a gem of an apartment for couples or families with older children. We took a 12 and 16 year old and they loved this apartment over the bigger hotels been to previously...there was never a fight for sunbeds....in fact last few days no one else used them! If we came back to Cavtat, we will def book the apartment again.

Lovely stay we travelled as a family over 2 apartments. One of apartments was duplex so had stairs. Both well equipped and place was spotlessly clean, good air conditioning and shutters to keep sun out during the day. Pool was lovely with a great view and pool towels provided. Natasa and Maro super helpful always on hand for advice arranged a private tour for our party to Mostar and surprised us with a birthday cake. Beach very close and main town 15/20 min walk but the slope and steps down and back up a killer - especially in the heat carrying shopping! Price you pay for the view -we did get the bus back from town a few times 4 stops to Obad and about 2 euro 30 each - saves the climb.

We stayed here in September 21. My partner had stayed not for from here years ago and finally we got here. One of the very best holidays Ive had! amazing apartment, overlooking the bay and having the best sunset view Ive ever had from a hotel/apartment. Being higher up the hill the view was utterly breathtaking as the sun set into the agean. Super Yachts anchored in the bay, Dubrovnik walls in the distance and a few pretty islands and amazing coastline make the picture amazing. Plenty of nice places to eat in the town, or just grab something and a bottle or 2 of wine and sit on that balcony, It really cant be beat! The apartment its self was spotless, the owner helpful and the pool and patio great. Only draw back is the walk back up the hill after dinner in the town, not for the unfit or those with knees made of crisps like mine!

Apartment Didan was an amazing property. We booked this after another booking we had was cancelled and we are so glad it was! The views from our living area and balcony at Apartment 4 were sensational. The property was spotless with everything you needed in the kitchen area, excellent shower and a very comfortable bed and sofa bed. Excellent and effective air conditioning also. It was a 20 min walk to the centre of Cavtat along a lovely coastal path with some restaurants and bars on the way. The last few minutes walk to the apartment from the beach path was via a very steep road, which may be an issue for small children or elderly but for us was no problem and is the reason there are such amazing views. Definitely worth the effort! Natasa, at the apartment went above an beyond at all times, helping with airport transfers, suggesting and booking trips and even giving us advice on how busy Dubrovnik would be on different days, depending on the number of cruise ships due in. She was always there when you needed her. Cavtat, itself, is a beautiful town with lovely restaurants and a really nice relaxed vibe. Lots of lovely areas along the coast to swim and extensive options for trips and activities. The pool at the apartment was also an added bonus to cool down after the walk up the hill. We definitely hope to be back for another visit to Cavtat and would choose Didan apartments again due to the quality of the property and helpfulness of Natasa.

Had a lovely stay at Didan apartments, natasa & her husband are very helpful giving you any information you need to enjoy your stay ,also the added bonus of free transfers to & from the airport. Apartments have everything you need they even supplied plug adapters, a first for us. It's about a 20min walk into cavtat but there are bars & restaurants 5min from didan apartments, however it is a steep climb with some steps on your return ( probably about 200 metres) so not good for anyone who has mobility issues. Our only criticism of an otherwise excellent apartment would be regarding the room we had (no 4) needs privacy film putting on the toilet/bathroom window as it was marginally overlooked by a higher balcony.

We have had a lovely time here. Nataša and Maro the managers are so kind and thoughtful. We have had the duplex apartment which has everything you need and we think has the best view other than those on the top floors. Everything is spotlessly clean which includes the lovely pool. It’s a fair workout getting back home from the town- very steep slope followed by lots of steps. Ideal for burning off those calories you’ve just consumed though! We would definitely recommend though and would certainly come back again.
