Villa caprice Amazing people. Staff there are very responsive to your needs. If you want or need anything you just need to ask Rozemil and he will make it happen (if possible). There were only a few guests during our time there and the staff made us feel very welcome. Our house keeper Juilietta was great. The entertainment crew, Tani, and Angel are some of the kindest and hard working people. They are now friends. The A/C works great and the water is hot! Food and drink are what you would except for Cuba. Internet works best at the main restaurant, can’t connect at the pool area….but you can surf the net at home. You are on vacation-unplug. The white party in town was something to experience however it went too late for me. A trip to see the turtle sanctuary is worth the $2 (USD) entry fee. We enjoyed our time and the people so much we plan on returning next month and we never have gone to the same place twice. On our next trip I will do a house de clutter and bring down supplies for the staff. They appreciate anything. I am bringing reusable water bottles and ball caps, and perhaps shoes that we have outgrown. Also any first aid supplies. You need to bring bug spray and after bite. When there is no breeze you will get bit after dinner. It’s not bad but if you react to bug bites (such as mosquitoes) come prepared.
