Quality Inn Cedar City - University Area

I asked for them to help carry my dad’s air tanks and concentrator in. I got a reply back saying they would. Found out no one helped my pops so he had to carry them in by himself when he shouldn’t be doing that. The staff was hard to understand and they had a hard time understanding them.

I had a poor experience at the Quality Inn in Cedar City. The front desk staff agent was extremely rude and lazy. I asked for help with my TV so I called from my room and the staff hung up on me. Thankfully I was able to obtain a full refund through *******, though it was a long and difficult process (2 weeks) to obtain a refund and to find the correct phone number to customer service. I think that posting the customer service number on the ******* website in a transparent manner would be very helpful. When you have a problem, you would like to talk to someone, not just send a message on chat. Keep in mind there are fraudsters online who impersonate themselves as ******* agents, so be careful! I called a hotline who I thought worked for *******, but they hung up on me which was really odd. Eventually I did find the right phone number to ******* and I was lucky to reach a legit ******* agent! Good thing I saved my receipt from my booking and from the hotel, otherwise it would have been difficult to obtain a refund. I'm sure there are other great hotels out there on *******, but this Quality Inn in Cedar City I will not go to again because of how I was mistreated after traveling through a snowstorm in southern Utah. Next time I'll be sure to check out the hotel in person before completing a booking through *******. That's my advice and hopefully this helps other customers.

Slippery metal, wet snow, steps to climb down from upstairs. Shower noise and poor drainage. Low to the floor toilet, difficult to get down to and then get back up.

We arrived at 2:50 p.m. Nobody was at the front desk. There was a sign that said something like 'Be right back, please wait.' We had to wait ~10 minutes for a representative to return. After we checked in, we decided to take a nap. At about 4 p.m., an employee used a key to open the door to our room. I heard him yell to someone downstairs, 'They are sleeping!' I opened the door and told him we were in the room and he apologized. The breakfast was good. The property seemed dated, though. For example, the curtains in the room had little holes where they folded vertically. I imagine that was from being repeatedly creased for 20 or 30 years.

Very good. Compliments to the hotel for the hot breakfast, and to the breakfast room attendant who was absolutely focused on keeping everything tidy and food items replenished. Comfortable beds. Good value for the money.

Not bad. Staff at check-in seemed a little disinterested/distracted by his phone, but gave answers when I asked questions. The room really needed cleaning on all the high traffic/frequently used surfaces - light switches, microwave, coffee maker, tv remote, etc., were all fairly grimy. The rest of the room, reakfast room, and the lobby were all cleaned better.

Room smelled terrible, the air system did not work and the front desk staff was very rude. Hung up on us multiple times

We appreciated getting right into 2 main floor rooms. The beds were great and everything nice and clean. We really enjoyed the hit tub area with big and little kids. The main pool ws on the cold side of warm... but everything else was terrific!

No issues. I would recommend "Do Not Disturb/Please Make Up Room" door hangers.
