I will start with the positives. The hotel is in the very center of Cefalu. About 5 min walk from the beach and 3 min walk from central square. Their parking is about 15 min walk or they can provide a cab for 10 euros. We walked and it wasn’t bad. Now for the negatives. It’s an old building with old, outdated, small rooms. I reserved junior suite for our family of 4. Got a room size and quality of a motel in US with queen size bad for us and and 2 foldable bed s for kids. The AC didn’t work when we got there but it was fixed. The fridge didn’t work, the shower didn’t drain water well. Staff was kind of cold and not very willing to help. Can’t comment on included breakfast because we left early for the airport. Stay elsewhere in this charming beach town

Unbelievable bad experience. Start with rooms. It is old mansion. They took hallway and build in rooms with plywood and some drywall . I’m in construction and this is such a bad job. Anyone who was checking we can hear them talk. Room have hair everywhere. Bathroom dirty. Pool dirty and old. Pics do not portray place correctly. We pay 180 euros and honestly I will not pay 50. Ph and breakfast. At 8:30 am. Everything was empty no water no eggs. Empty jars. So bizarre. This is worst stay we got so far in Sicily. I don’t understand. Building got huge potential. But it’s almost like they don’t care

A fabulous, clean and friendly hotel. Location superb right in centre of historic old town. Bedrooms fantastic with balcony and great bathroom. Very comfortable. Continental breakfast excellent with the fresh fruit, cakes, coffee etc. And this hotel very good value.

Very convenient and comfortable hotel in the middle of old Cefalu, one block walk from the Piazza Duomo. Enjoyable breakfast included, attentive staff. Walkable location to several wonderful restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean. Recommended.

I liked how the property is centrally located, and especially the good security entering the building. The front desk staff was very helpful and really tried to please. The property is looking a little tired inside. It could use a bit of renovation and styling. It does not have a seating area when you are checking in, and I think it could benefit from this to make the entrance look more cozy.

Great location, bad service. Air conditioning wasn't working properly, erratic noise and limited cooling. Asked the front desk person to have it checked. Nothing was done or communicated. Asked the same person again the next morning. When I checked back in the afternoon a different front desk person said that the morning person decided it was fine herself and did nothing. AC couldn't cool below 25C (77F). She said that she couldn't do anything further. Ugh. Started checking out the AC myself. Found that the incoming air filter was completely covered in 1/4" of dust/debris. Cleaned it up and the air conditioner worked perfectly, quiet and quickly cooled down. I slept quite poorly for two nights. If the response had been better I would have had no issue but nothing was done or communicated. A guest shouldn't have to bring up an issue twice nor be responsible to clean out an air conditioner. Very messy job without a vacuum.

We drove from Palermo to Cefalu. Discovered quite quickly that you cannot drive close to hotel as streets narrow & pedestrian only. We had to park our car at the public beach parking lot & walked several blocks to the hotel. Hotel was in a fantastic location. Could easily walk to the beach. Wifi wasn't working when we were there so had to pay our bill with euros upon checking out. In room safe not secured to anything either. We only stayed one night & it was perfect for our needs.
