"I recently stayed at Saco River Lodge and Suites and wanted to share my feedback. While the location had potential, there were some challenges during my stay. Firstly, I encountered a small rodent in my room, which was unexpected and quite concerning. Additionally, I found the manager's attitude a bit disappointing; their demeanor seemed rather rude. Unfortunately, these factors led to us deciding not to stay the night.
Furthermore, we were unable to discuss our concerns in person since the office was closed. This left us feeling somewhat stranded and without a clear channel to address our issues. Regrettably, our experience was such that we couldn't proceed with our stay after a long 3-hour drive.
What was additionally disappointing was the fact that despite the situation, the cost of the room was not refunded. This added to our disappoin**ent as we were hoping for some resolution considering the circumstances.
I understand that circumstances can be challenging and that there might be reasons beyond immediate control, but I did find these aspects of my stay to be less than ideal. A more open line of communication, even after hours, and a proactive approach to addressing unexpected situations would have gone a long way in making our stay more comfortable. I hope this feedback can contribute to improvements for future guests."
