Casa Santo Stefano

Fabulous private boutique hotel, in a great location. From arriving to departure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close to locale town of Cernobbio, all amenities that you think could need in one place ( private pool, 8bedroom hotel, honesty policy bar) really was great.

We have recently returned from a wonderful 4 day break at Lake Como. I knew from the minute I arrived we had chosen the right place for us. We were greeted by Adel who explained everything clearly and carried our bags to the room. We stayed in Room 2 which was incredible. It has the most amazing view of the Lake with a fabulous balcony. The accommodation is full of lovely little touches, honesty bar, sensor lighting, fresh flowers and plants, and an incredible breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. The location is up a steep hill and although easily walkable down to town walking back up the steep steps in the mid day sunshine is not advisable, however local taxis are available. We spent a couple of days just relaxing by the pool which was fabulous and as the hotel only has 5 rooms it is never overcrowded. One day we had the whole pool to ourselves!! In the evenings we visited restaurants that Adel recommended and were just a few minutes walk away were excellent and had enough variety for us ( 1 vegetarian and 1 meat eater). We loved every minute.

Recently returned from this delightful Boutique B&B. The attention to detail was first class and spotlessly clean. The breakfast provided was up there with some of the top hotels. The only reason we cannot give it a 5* is purely down to getting around from Cernobbio. The ferries from here are not frequent and can take 2 hours to get to the popular sightseeing destinations and the taxis are practically none existent, should you phone for a taxi they simply cut you off! By car maybe a much better option.

From beginning to end this place didn't disappoint! We had a beautiful room, stunning views, lovely breakfast (which we enjoyed on our balcony) and awesome pool. Adel the manager was so nice and so helpful. We will definitely be returning!

Casa Santo Stefano was a highlight of our trip! The B&B style hotel was very stylish, clean, and had a stunning view of Lake Como. Our room was amazing! We had a great terrace to view the lake, and a very comfortable lounge area in our room. Breakfast was great - the staff took great care to prepare a tasty spread of pastries, meats, cheeses, antipasti, eggs, cereals and yogurt. As you would expect in Italy, the coffee was out of this world! The hotel is not staffed 24-hours a day, however they are available via WhatsApp to help and answer any queries you may have. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful before and during our stay. The property is located up the hill from Cernobbio (pack good shoes for walking up cobblestone stairs). There are a couple of restaurants nearby for dinner. We can’t wait to return!

I already know that whenever I get back to Lake Como I will for sure stay at this place. It's better than staying in Como itself. Highly recommend

The most peaceful, clean and adorable property. I did not want to leave. Everything was so easy and I felt very taken care of from the moment of check in. The breakfast was delightful. The neighborhood is beautiful and such a nice walking distance to restaurants. I can’t wait to go back so I can’t stay longer and enjoy the gorgeous pool!

Very enjoyable relaxing stay at the villa property made better by Adel the property manager. I can’t say enough about the wonderful, cordial, professional service provided by Adel. My wife and I can’t wait to go back for a return visit.
