We booked the Rose room however the room facilities did not match up to the description. There was no tea/coffee making items, no gowns or slippers, the wifi was absolutely rubbish, the toilet seat had 1 hinge completely rusted through( this was replaced when we mentioned it, why they hadn’t replaced it before 8 have no idea, also it was advertised as giving a welcome wine/champagne, this was not forthcoming. They only provided 2 bath towels which were hard, grey and one was torn. The bathroom had a bad smell. Breakfast was not of a great variety, 2 fried eggs, the best we have had this trip, 3 chipolattas, a bit of salad, 2 slices of toast with strawberry jam coffee and a couple of orange.

A really comfortable boutique style hotel, and good location in terms of access. Great value for the money, and family run. We will certainly be coming back. Only thing missing are restaurant facilities.

De kamer was ruim, schoon en mooi, maar niet comfortabel ingericht. Zo stond er geen enkele stoel in. De tuin is goed onderhouden, maar warm en benauwd omdat hij is omgeven door een stenen muur en er nauwelijks schaduw is. Onze (luxe) kamer was in het hoofdgebouw, waarin ook de familie woont. Dat gaf een onvrij gevoel. Het ontbijt, geserveerd in de tuin en bestaande uit een paar sneetjes brood met jam, was miserabel. Door de ligging aan de snelweg hoor je ‘s nachts het zware verkeer voorbijrazen. Maar, om positief te eindigen: het zwembad was heerlijk!
