We do not provide life jackets. This rental is for couples only. Two people MAX! Excellent fishing, and located just south of Dandridge (10 mins). Sevierville is 20 mins, Pigeon Forge is 30 mins, and Gatlinburg is 45 mins. You are close to all the attractions without the hustle and bustle of staying in the city. The cabin is the last house in the cove, so there is very little boat traffic to interfere with your stay. It is attached to a larger home that sleeps 10, if you need room for a reunion, etc. The properties are separated by a 6 ft privacy fence. The lake is a TVA lake, so there is water from Memorial Day until late September ONLY. After that, there is NO WATER. Please see the pictures! There is still lots to do even out of season. This is a great getaway location for a relaxing long weekend or vacation for 2. The small floating dock set up for a kayak or canoe, is just a few steps below the cabin. H2O Watersports is about 1/2 mile up the road for anyone who wants to rent boats or jet skis. Living room has fireplace and the kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary items. Large outdoor patio area with screen porch. The patio area is equipped with table and chairs that overlooks the lake and is partially covered for when you want a little shade or if it's raining. There is also a fire pit on the patio which is great for making smores after a long day exploring Douglas Lake. There is a charcoal grill, for your use.
