Relax with the family at this peaceful escape in Colorado’s nature w/ a HOT TUB and backside view of Pikes Peak! Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the deck as you watch the sun rise, or roasting marshmallows over the firepit with Colorado nature all around you as the sun sets! Peace and tranquility!! Just 7 minutes from the town of Woodland Park for great restaurants and conveniences, but far enough away to be completely unplugged and away with your friends and family. Excellent hiking close, and so much to do! (Price includes reasonable VRBO fee of 8%, taxes, and payment processing fees)This is purely a small family and couples group get-a-way, not intended for a place to party. Here are some additional rules and if you do not agree to them, and while we understand, this may not be the best rental for you. Renting constitutes agreement.-Maximum capacity is 6 total, no more than 4 adults (13 and older), exceptions are per owner agreement before booking. Additions are $50/night and may be asked to terminate the rental depending on the situation. Please respect the owner's request on numbers of adults. The property is on a septic and well; and it is not designed to host a lot of people.-No children under the age of 13 allowed in the Hot Tub. Hot tub is Adult only. You MUST complete the waiver before use (Adult making the reservation)-Pets result in a fine of $250 plus damages (owner has allergy). Additionally, rental agreement will be terminated immediately.-0 tolerance for parties. Hike the ridge up to 8300', relax in the hot tub, or enjoy watching deer and birds from the various decks: there is something to do for everybody here! The cabins are a few hundred feet apart from each other so easy to walk between and will accommodate a group of 24 comfortably. Rock Rest Eco-Cabin was built by the owners in 2018. It is thoughtfully designed with modern lines and rustic textures. Lots of special features. The bedroom has a queen bed and a suspended bunk bed. The back balcony overlooks the valley with farmland beneath the Pikes Peak mountain range. The bathroom is a perfectly clean and efficient space. The shower has a unique stainless steel surround with a polished river rock mosaic floor. With our new water well and tankless water heater you can always have a long hot shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal. The appliances are stainless steel and the counters are custom made with inlaid polished stone and fossils. The living room has a custom built twin XL daybed. A Smart TV with Netflix, Bluetooth sound bar, HD DVD player, industrial and rustic furniture. The HUGE Sliding glass door addresses the large deck with a twin XL swing and the beautiful forest and meadow where the deer frequently graze. We are located less than a mile from the Wolf and Wildlife sanctuary. You can often hear them howling at the moon. Sometimes they will respond if you howl at them. We are ready to prepare romantic packages, birthday packages, etc. after confirmation. The beautiful sunroom with Boho decoration or our deck with a great view is an amazing place for celebrating and photo shooting.Living room:This cabin has two living area, one upstair and one downstair, they both are fully furnished with cozy and comfortable couches. The main floor living room has a wood fireplace (PLEASE don't bring wood from yard, it brings ant, spider and bug to the house, all groceries have firewood).Bedrooms:There are 5 bedrooms in the cabin. They have extremely comfortable beds with brand new mattresses, high-quality bedding, and plenty of pillows, and we provide fresh linens for your comfort. The master bedroom is upstairs and overlooks the main space. It has a king bed, two nightstands with lamps, and a wall-mounted TV. Another bedroom in upstair has a queen bed.The downstairs has 3 bedrooms:- 1 queen bed with separate bathroom- Two twin beds (shared bathroom with kids room)- One bunk-bed (full and twin) and one twin bed.- One sofa bed in upstairs living room for 2-One sofa bed in downstairs living room for 1Kiddos:For those traveling with little ones, we have a hidden special space for them for discovery! It is full of toys and books, they can play for hours in that area. It is located in the room with the bunk bed.Kitchen:You will be thrilled to prepare some meals in the fully loaded kitchen. There is a stainless-steel fridge, 5 burner electric range and oven, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, and a slow cookerThere is a standard drip coffee maker, as well as a french press. We provide coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, sugar-free sweetener, and a welcome basket for you!Laundry Room:The washer and dryer are onsite. There is an iron and ironing board in the master bedroom's closet. Office:We have a furnished office for those who are working remotely . It has a desk and a Wifi (we have provided the fast wi-fi in the area(75 MB/s) but, keep in mind that this is a mountain cabin and you may notice slow internet connection some times due to weather and other conditions.The monitor has only an HDMI port.Deck:The huge deck, with comfortable outdoor seating, swing, a gas fire dining table, and a grill making this the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful outdoors. You can enjoy sunset while grilling, dining, and relaxing on the deck after your adventures.Guests have access to the entire property during their stay. We provide keyless access, and you will receive the code one day prior to your stay.The attached garage is reserved for homeowner use only.Guests are kindly asked to use the driveway or the detached garage for parking.Pets:Pets aren't allowed in this house with the exeption of service dogs (with permision and documents!) There will be a penalty of $300 if you bring your dog plus any additional cost for cleaning and damage.Elevation:The cabine elevation is around 9,100 ft. make sure to check with your physicain if you have altitude sickness .Drink extra water and stay hydrated.Drinking Water: The well water is fantastic to drink, and it is safe (we have a water softener too)! You will feel brand new! Phone: There is limited cell service at the property. You must turn Wifi Calling ON in your phone settings while you have at least 2 bars of service or more. By doing so, you will have normal phone usage while at the cabin via Wifi.Parking: There is covered parking and a parking on the dirt driveway.SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin. Smoking is permitted only outside. Please note that Colorado is a wildfire state, so please only dispose of cigarettes in the trash. Smells of marijuana or tobacco will cost you a $250 fee to deep clean the cabine to remove the smell.WILDLIFE: The cabin is close to the national forest, so it is likely you will see wildlife like elk, rabbits, fox, bears, bald eagles, and mountain lions Please follow wildlife safety rules and the hiking guidelines in this area and do NOT allow kids to be outside alone.The homeowners and management are not liable for any injuries during exploring the outdoors. CAMERA: We have three outdoor security cameras in place for safety and security purposes. These cameras are positioned to ensure they do not infringe on the privacy of our guests in any way.TRASH: Please put all trash in garbage bags, tie them up tightly, and place them in the trash bin. Perfect mountain getaway for your home base while you're exploring all that Colorado has to offer in the summer, or if you're looking for a quiet place to relax. The Trail House is a wonderful mountain home conveniently located just outside the quaint town of Woodland Park. Activity choices are almost unlimited so whether you want to explore the great outdoors, visit the nearby Dinosaur Resource Center, head into the nearby towns, or just sit and relax on the deck it's all up to you.The spaceThe Trail House is a great mountain getaway located just 15 minutes from the small town of Woodland Park. Guests enter through the front door which is three steps down from the parking area. Our home is comprised of 3 levels - the main floor which includes the living room, bathroom, kitchen, and dining area. Upstairs is a loft with a queen bed and downstairs are a full and twin bed, another bathroom, and utility room, with a washer and dryer, and a place to hang clothes. There are two decks the larger of which is located off the main floor and includes outdoor patio furniture along with a wrought iron table, umbrella and set of chairs. The other is located outside of the sliding door on the lower level.
