Great as always. Nice hangout area on the first floor and very quiet rooms. Also pretty close to a lot of the major attractions, but still far enough to not be crowded when leaving the door. There is also an external gym right next to the hostel.

A very good design hostel. Soft big bed cover with c)ean bed sheet and temperature control made me feel very comfortable at night. Social space in living room and cafe. Hostel location are nearby with tourist attractions.

I have stayed at other Desti hostels in China before and this one was the same as others - nice staff and room. Luggage storage was provided and the staff ask you to put identification tags on them which was a nice touch

Management for this hotel needs to be changed. The cleanliness is very bad, I got a private room that smelled like urine. When I complained, the front desk staff just laughed. They supposedly sent someone who didn't do a good job. I had to ask for a broom myself and scrub down the walls and floor.
Not only that, someone had vomited in the floor I'm front of the hotel entrance, and footsteps were tracking it all inside the hotel reception area. I had to tell the staff to clean it.
The carpeting in the hallway smelled old and musty, and the walls insode the room are all scuffed up in need of paint. The floor on the shower needs major deep cleaning. The staff needs to be fired and replaced. All stupid young kids are smiling and on their cellphones.. This hostel has seen better days, not like the Desti in Hangzhou.
ABSOLUTELY GROSS I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR A REFUND AND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

One of the best hostel I have ever been to! There is a group chat you can join and a lot of activities which makes it quite easy to meet people! Perfect for solo travelling, also very clean and convenient.
