Hyatt House Charlotte Airport

I liked the hotel but the app messed up my pricing amount and the guy working is acting all funny now. Not cool

Just terrible green pool, holes in the ceiling, walls. Broken thermostat hanging by wire. No breakfast as advertised. Steel terrible. Made a complaint over phone and front desk. Was given a call back 4 days later

Loyal Hyatt globalist member. Stayed here on an overnight flight layover. The negativity started before I even arrived at the property. Called upon landing inquiring about the free airport shuttle. Was immediately put on hold for several minutes only to be told there wasn’t one. Sp an unexpected $25 Uber ride. Upon arrival staff was nice enough but hotel was falling apart. Hallways are dark and musty and my room had a broken lamp. It overlooked the pool which hadn’t been cleaned in years. Absolutely gross. This is the first property in all the years I’ve stayed at Hyatts that I had a bad experience at. Avoid it.

Avoid at all costs. Hyatt should be ashamed to have their name on this property. It is in horrible condition and falling apart.

They are using it as a boarding house with long term residents. Amenities advertised but not available, not even a bottle of water! Felt unsafe, my door was obviously forced open and broken at one point. Front deck didn't care. Stay away from!

I'm still awaiting my deposit for incidentals to be removed from 3/29/24, it's now 4/2/24, the ceiling tiles are pictured, and the bedroom is missing the dark shade, other than the two above my stay was ok, if your room does NOT have a do not disturb sign, ask the desk for one, or house keeping will be knocking on your door all morning.

We got shelter for the night after a late night arrival. That's it The place has not been well maintained, and it clearly lacks leadership. It seems they have enough personnel, but no direction. Rooms seem clean enough - not overwhelming. Breakfast was picked over and not replenished.Rooms are spacious - could be really a good place.

Thankfully we were only here one night and were able to psych ourselves up by saying "we can do anything for one night" but this was really unpleasant. The condition of the hotel is shabby, dirty and in varying states of disrepair. Our room was extremely dirty. We thought we saw a roach on top of the bed...nope, it was just a set of used, huge false eyelashes. Every corner of the room was grimy with stains on all fabric, and walls. I stay in hotels all the time and this has entered my top 5 most icky.

Unless the decide to help compensate further, my wife and I did not have a great experience here overall. We loved Charlotte and the Hyatt House room layout but the overall room customer service, condition/cleanliness of the room, and false advertisement on the hyatt website in text and picture with their being no hot tub upon arrival were not impressive.
