Ibis Styles la Rochelle Thalasso Chatelaillon

The rooms were excellent, the staff very helpful and the location superb. We arrived to find it very busy with a conference on and many people attending the spa, but we were still well looked after; I hope they never make this one of those awful hotels with no staff. It would die overnight.

Good location, nice staff Main disappoin**ent is that the pool is NOT allow to kids at certain hours. Kids can only enjoy the pool 1 hour in the morning like 8.00AM to 09.00AM, and on the afternoon start 06.00PM or 06.30PM which is a shame when you have kids that love swimming... Plus, the water is salty which hurt my son's eyes and mine, we did not wear goggles. Room is pretty small, not bath, only a shower with the toilet included. The Spa Nuxe is pretty big, clean and relaxing. Make sure to book your massage in advance as it gets fully booked quickly as it is not only reserved for the hotel clients but to everyone. The restaurant was good, staff was nice. You can enjoy a room service of needed. Breakfast has just the minimum you can expect for a IbisStyle.

I enjoyed our visit to this hotel. Because were were rushing we did not get to enjoy the pool. Everything was very clean and I felt our safety was very important to the hotel. Breakfast was nice and plenty of good coffee.

Nice hotel even if in a quite "standard" building. The spa pools are amazing and the activities were fun (marche océanique). The restaurant is OK, nothing exceptional but perfect for families. The whole family enjoyed the place

Parfait ! Un réajustement de la taille de la chambre a été fait pour mes enfants, juste Merci ! Structure parfaite ! Cadre idyllique ! Thalasso rien à dire. Petit déjeuner, très bien varié, tout la famille est ravie de cette parenthèse. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Très bel hôtel avec vue magnifique (côté mer) avec piscine et thalasso. Un endroit où la détente prime avec de beaux extérieurs. Chambre propre et ce qu'il faut en qualité confort pour passer un beau moment. Petit déjeuner et repas délicieux.

Negli ultimi tempi, con brevi intervalli, torniamo a Chatelaillon e alloggiamo qui, con soggiorni sempre più estesi. La camera è minimalista, nello stile degli Styles, senza balcone, tranquilla. Due punti forti sono la cortesia del personale, la piscina con acqua riscaldata dell’Atlantico, una parte rettangolare per il nuoto, un’altra interna con vari tipi di getti massaggianti, ottimi per la circolazione, più una esterna ove, nelle belle giornate, oltre ai benefici salsoiodici ci sono anche quelli elioterapici, infine un’altra riservata agli esercizi ginnici. Consegna dell’ accappatoio con uso gratuito, da restituire prima di partire. Colazione mattutina: varia, abbondante, con particolare menzione per la signora (mi rincresce ignorare il suo nome) bionda con la coda di cavallo, instancabile nel rimpiazzare cibi, posate e vasellame. Ecco, questa signora sarebbe utilissima per trasmettere la sua esperienza al personale giovane che serve le cene: premuroso, gentile, ma con poca esperienza e qualche pecca: consegna di piatti non ordinati, vassoi sovraccaricati col risultato che qualche bicchiere/piatto scivola a terra e si infrange. Ampio parcheggio gratuito illuminato, ma non vigilato nei pressi. Relativa vicinanza alla città verso destra e, verso sinistra, al villaggio dei pescatori e del relativo porticciolo, raggiungibili con una gradevole, salutare passeggiata. Chatelaillon e Ibis Styles: bel connubio!
