However, the sound insulation of the hotel really needs to be improved. I stayed for three nights. The first night was quiet and there were no mosquitoes, but I didn’t sleep well due to my own reasons (because I am a very poor sleeper, and quietness is very important to me). The next morning I was very sleepy. After being satisfied with the hotel accommodation conditions, I went to the front desk to renew for two days. I didn’t expect that there was a family living next door who didn’t need to sleep at night. They kept chatting and laughing all night, as if they were talking in my ear. I couldn’t bear it anymore. At around 12 o’clock, I told them through the wall to stop making noise. Unexpectedly, they actually agreed. It was enough. This shows the quality of the sound insulation. What’s more, I was woken up by mosquito bites just after I fell asleep. I had to get up with my children to fight mosquitoes. After struggling like this all night, I ran to the front desk early in the morning and said that if the next door was not available, they would arrange something else for me. The room, the room was not full of mosquito bites from two bugs. The front desk clerk said angrily to me, and there is no room change available now. Seeing that her attitude might be bad, I said to her, ”Will you take care of the situation this afternoon? There's no rush now.” Since I didn't have any rest, I went to the panda base with my children and I didn't have much energy. I returned to Shadian in the afternoon and asked the front desk if it had been processed? I didn't expect that the front desk didn't know about this, but the two waiters had a very good attitude and actively helped to handle the matter. There is nothing to be afraid of if Shadian has shortcomings, but you must be willing to improve and deal with things proactively, so that you can do better. I am traveling with my children, and I pay special attention to safety. It would be more secure if the hotel could swipe the card to enter the room. I wrote so much just to give a reference to people like me who like to read real reviews.

Facilities: A very good travel experience. I stayed here for four nights. New refreshments, fruits and sugar water were delivered every day. The minibar was also replenished every day. The overall building is antique and the facilities in the room are complete. Drink tea here and stroll around Qingyang Palace. It is very comfortable and you can walk to Huanhuaxi Park and Sichuan Museum in 20 minutes. There are subway stations and many shared bicycles right outside, taxis and public transportation are very convenient. Service: The service is great. The little girls at the front desk are very nice. They are considerate and enthusiastic. There is a red-haired girl who is very nice. She greets us every time and the butler service saves us a lot of trouble. You don't need to go downstairs except for breakfast. The meal is a bit simpler and all other aspects are good. It is a recommended hotel.

Amazing Courtyard hotel in the middle of a Upper class area, the friendly greeting and help was amazing and able to speak English was a plus, we were made to feel very special and the food was amazing. Ample breakfast which starts at 7:30. Easy access to the metro and only 20 minutes to the railway station and Pandas. Definitely would advise anyone to stay here and you would not be disappointed.

It is very convenient from Kuanzhai Alley, the transportation is very convenient, and it is very convenient to go to various scenic spots. The only drawback is that there is no down elevator at the nearby subway entrance. You need to cross the street to get to the straight elevator. There is no bread for breakfast.

I had a great time in Chengdu, and that was partly due to this hotel. Checking was smooth and I like that it's from 12:00 instead of the usual 14:00 around the world. There's drinks/tea in the lobby that is nicely decorated. There are seats outside to hang out if you want to. The room looks just like the pictures, and has everything you'd need; it's well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and water. I had a room facing the street and it's nice and quiet during the evening. It's located in a local area, and there's a convenience store next door, and there are a few restaurants, shops and coffee places within walking distance. It's kind of in the middle between two metro stations, both are close enough to walk and it's easy to find. What made it especially nice for me where the little details, such as a lovely written note by the housekeeping staff adding some tips for the stay, or that the staff rushed over to help me setup the laundry machine and they even brought my self-service laundry to the room after the dryer was finished, so I could carry on with my day and not wait for it, so nice! I'd recommend this hotel if you're staying in Chengdu, and would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Absolutely love this hotel, so close to Tong Hui Men metro station and this is really convenient, too bad the restaurants next to the hotel are all closed probably hit due to the pandemic. There is a few convenience stores across the road for some snacks like crackers, biscuits, soft drinks etc. The staff at the front desk like Ella, Anna and everyone were so helpful. The hotel breakfast was also a good spread and delicious if you like Chinese food, there are some bread, fruits and pastries too!

Booked this hotel for a family trip of three. It is well-located and close to restaurants and a walking alley filled with coffee and fruit shops. The double twin bedroom was big enough for the three of us and the breakfast was really delicious. A spread for all pallets. The environment is quiet tranquil and the receptionist are helpful. Only suggestion would to get the hotel to register another name either in English or pinyin for Didi. That was the only struggle.
