There is a sauna! There is a bathtub! Stayed for three days and soaked for three days! This is the most value-for-money experience in the more than ten years since I signed up as a Ctrip member (previously registered by Ctrip staff in handwriting while waiting at the airport)! marvelous!

Overall, services are excellent! Starting from reception, breakfast cafe, horizon club, house keeping, all staff we met are friendly, attentive and responsive. Special credits to the house keeping lady and male manager who took charge at the horizon club. We stayed at Shangrila Chengdu from 27 Dec - 31 Dec 2023. Highly recommended!!

The hotel is great. The butler Xiaoxia is warm and attentive. Check-in is fast. She patiently answers various questions, helps adjust the appropriate room, and recommends attractions and food. The hotel is located in Jinjiang District, close to Wanda Plaza and a 10-minute drive from Chunxi Road in Taikoo Li. It is convenient for food and accommodation. It is very nice of them , to upgrade my room to a children suite. The only concern is, the robot probably need an upgrade. When I came out from the lift with a big luggage, the robot blocked our way not moving. We have difficulty coming out.

The hotel is 20mins walk to Taikoo or you can take the metro (1 stop). Behind the hotels there are many local restaurants and 1-2 coffee shops. It takes 25 mins drive to get to the airport. The hotel is very local. I didn’t see any foreigners. The room is spacious and clean. Good sound proof wall. The view from my room, 39th floor, is nice. No cigarette smell. Bed is comfy and water pressure is just right. The pool and gym looks nice as well but I didn’t use them. Chinese and western breakfast is great! Overall service of front desk, housekeeping and breakfast restaurant are EXCELLENT! I will stay here again because of value for money!
